Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 9 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I thought it's not a game for me, but after playing it I can say that it's a game for everybody, so many different elements (and all of them are good!), I recommend it
This Game is really unique on its own and if you ever felt bad cheating at something, this game gives you the right punishment for it
Awesome and solid game! DEFINITELY Would recommend!
I can't spoil too much! But it's best to play the game blind. But I really enjoyed the concept and ideas the game had. The multi layering can be really trippy, but makes it soo much more interesting to explore options and try find ways to complete a task. The puzzles weren't intense, but felt rewarding every time you progressed or solved a 'area'. (Just don't overthink it, like I did) The jump scares got me good, a couple of times and I may have lost some sleep because I was soo pulled in by the tone and atmosphere the game set.
And just.. the 'demon'..
I've already finished the main portion of the game, but I wanna go back and explore more! I feel like there are still more secrets and maybe(?) a story left to be discovered. (PLEASE I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO TALK TO ABOUT THIS GAME?!) JUST A WARNING TO STREAMERS! There is a portion of the game that will read your name off your PC. So if you don't want to accidentally dox yourself, just beware! But I did play this on stream with my community and they were really invested in it! I even played the ending out a couple of times
(also cause I want to know where I keep hearing this door that unlocks in the final chase!)
so that they could see what happened in the ENDING(?). BUT DEFINITELY SOLID GAME!! Will come back again to look for more of what this game has.. And to see whatever the dev cooks up next :D

This game blew my mind. Its like they are really talking to you and coming for you Beware! Play on your own risk! And don't say I did not warn YOU.
You're inside a simulation, of a simulation, inside a simulation, of a simulation inside The Matrix inside a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC within a mall that's inside your brain inside another giant simulation! What looks like your ordinary RPGMaker Horror story ends up being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game where you travel between (two) different layers to solve various puzzles. The game's main mechanic, which is the "R E T U R N" thing mentioned in the game's description, is implemented in an abundant and satisfying manner and the puzzles, while simple, end up being really fun because of this. Remember to screenshot anything you might need or pull up a notepad and write it down, and that the puzzles aren't that hard, you just need to think "outside the box". Also I'll fix Discount Joker's monitor someday. He deserves it, he's an amazing storyteller after all.
Just finished playing it a bit ago. (No spoilers.) Like most casuals, I discovered it thanks to already knowing the developer's youtube channel. I think it's pretty cool how he was able to expand his talents further and create this game, such that if I had watched his videos and played this game, I wouldn't have made the connection. That's how different this project is, and I commend him for this. As for the game itself? On first playthrough, it's pretty trippy. Switching between styles of gameplay to resolve challenges impossible in one plane of existence. Some minor gripes with the puzzles, but they serve their function fine, mostly. (A "birthday" is not an entire year unless their mother has an extremely small vagina.) A cool one was basically taunting us with an impossible puzzle that only resolves once having started over. The game also presents variety with the type of gameplay involved. But the core problem is the first playthrough notion. I tried a second playthrough to see if my choices impacted things. And they didn't. I went through the same patterns and actions, even including that impossible puzzle. While the order in which you can solve some puzzles changes in the game's second half, it's basically multiple winding paths leading to the same exit. Choices are an illusion. For games focusing on a singular story, I prefer to either not have choices or have the choices lead to small benefits. There is also a focus on proper nouns without establishing anything about those proper nouns. One character's name is brought up in relation to that impossible puzzle, but who is this character? Who are the other three? Who is the storyteller? Even the story's core antagonist appears to speak to someone, but even after consulting the guide, I don't have the slightest clue nor care as to who this someone is. The storyteller hints at these characters and speaks to something beyond, but I'd rather focus be changed to solely a trippy 4th wall breaking horror and not hint at set-ups without payoffs. I'm very optimistic going into new media as I assume the best where I can until I have all relevant information, at which point hope crashes hurt all the more. In the current economy, calling anything "not worth the price" feels like a slap in the face, especially considering how much work went into this game, but I don't know if 10 dollars is worth it. The game is certainly a fun experience, but don't expect much outside the trippy horror. I had it on wishlist, and it happened to go on sale. If you've got spare money, a means to portray your reaction like a YouTube or Kick channel, or just want to support Mastermind's creative pursuits, give it a go at full price.
Super cool! Puzzles and puzzles all around!
I would absolutely agree with all the other reviews which say to avoid learning anything about Fremdganger before going in. It would not have been anywhere near the experience it was had I known what I was getting myself into. That said, even after I got the idea of what was going on, I was still enjoying myself. Thankfully, the dev bothered with actually having an entertaining game rather than just a clever one. I do think the price might be a tad steep. Unfortunately, we live in a post-Vampire Survivors world wherein I'm just not sure I can justify a game of this depth at $10. It happened to be on sale when I bought it, I think for something like 5 or 6 bucks, and I personally think it's worth that. You will absolutely get 2-3 hours from the game, even if you're just rushing through it with blinders on, but you can easily wring an extra hour or two out of it, if you feel compelled to look into every little thing. That's all I've got without spoiling anything. I would, however, like to talk about some specific aspects, so don't look down here unless you've already played the game. Don't look at it if you're even the least bit interested, because it loses a lot of its impact if you have any details at all. Just wait for it to go on sale, again, and buy it then. If you absolutely need something to convince you, I will say that Steam's recommendation of
Inscryption
is dead-on.
I found the way that each "layer" was done in a completely different style both visually and in terms of gameplay to be rather impressive. I at first thought that it was going to be an RPG Maker version of Inscryption, but it went much further than that. I should also note that the way this was actually implemented via a number of plugins was very clever, especially the clicker game running off of that Quests plugin. I loved the horror comedy aspects of the game, especially in the ending. They were a great way to come back down after more tense scenes, particularly the cathartic payoff after the ending gauntlet. Speaking of the ending gauntlet, the most difficult part of that was without a doubt the controls in the first person section. I'm not going to complain too much, since it's essentially a clever hacky plugin to turn a 2D engine into a pseudo-3D one, but it simply does not control well under pressure, so I hope that isn't used in any further work (or is accomplished in a less awkward way). I was somewhat disappointed in the overall plot, I'm sorry to say. While there are implications of Lovecraftian horror in terms of the player actually being one layer down from a sleeping Old God, there doesn't appear to be anything more than a quick mention of this idea just before the game ends. Maybe there are more secrets than what I found, but it didn't look that way from my digging. And let me tell you, I did some digging. I spent about half an hour trying everything I could think of to open the Azure door, only to finally go with the last-resort option of digging into the game files for well over an hour. I did find the code to open it, but the reward is just a nod at the player's ingenuity (along with a very small German lesson). As far as I could find, otherwise, there is somehow a way to get the shovel and reach the end of the puzzle in the initial path of the "game," so I'm not sure just how deep that path goes, but that was the only other "oh wow" moment for me. I was hoping the messages on the repaired computer would lead somewhere, but I found no other mention of the names listed or the numbers being used elsewhere. To be clear, I don't blame the developer for not adding a massive secret ARG as part of their already well-crafted game, but I do wish that there was a bit more of a mystery to solve.
My expectations were lowered by the generic RPG Maker screenshots, but I finished this game genuinely surprised by how fun and creative it was. I'll echo the sentiment in the other reviews, which is to go in as blind as possible. There's not much that can be said about the game that doesn't spoil some entertaining reveals.
Wow, just wow. This game is pretty damn good for a meta game! I don't want to spoil anything but i really like the games concept and main antagonist, why do i like the main antagonist? You will never get me to tell. Play it yourself. It's pretty good (imo)
