About
You'll never know when the game is watching your actions.
You'll never be judged in terms of Good or Evil.
You'll simply have to live with the consequences of your actions... Whether you intended them or not.

FREERIDE's story reacts to your Subconscious Personality, so each person's first 4-6 hour playthrough will be different.
In fact, you will only see ~1/3 of the full story in a loop, so playing again is recommended to experience to full narrative.
Life is always easier with experience, you know. *)
A Hint>> Each Act can be Solved in 4 ways.
Use the magic of the Gods to rearrange furniture.
Also other things.
Like Basketball!
And don't forget...
But no stress, there are no good or bad way to play the game.

game made me angry >: ( spoiler warning....
Solo said not to follow him when he ran off crying, so i didnt !!! even tho i still wanted to help...i assumed he needed some space so i just kept exploring.
then the
seer asked me why i didnt pursue him and bothered to listen to more of his story !!!!
and the only options i could respond with...was that
i either hated him, didnt care, or already heard of his story before !!!
and neither of which was true !!!!! I didn't even think
following him
was an option !!! i was never given any clues so my autistic butt just
left him alone
T_T def a skill issue but i just wandered around the map after trying to find where he went after I reloaded the save and softlocked myself out of being able to get another
seer reading in the secret
by saying no to it. otherwise i wouldnt be able to leave that place.... this whole thing put me off from playing the game for a week or two.....bleh but i liked the art my fav character so far is
dakuiri
cuz he looks so fun to doodle ! and his facial expressions are the best ~_~* i didn't beat the game yet,....this is just a minor complaint....cz it makes me wonder what else is there i'll miss because it doesn't seem so obvious sometimes....

Very good game, the brat twink and his twin bear are my favorites
Absolute cinema. This is really a peak cinematic piece of storytelling I have played in a while I love it so much. Still I have to address the obvious problems this game have. Let's start with the positive first. I love the characters so much. All of them have unique real personality and none of them feels shallow. Even side characters who I don't have to intervene is lovely. Especially that fat cat, the door and dog student... or is she a cow I think. My favourites characters are Kohno, Solo, that bird, the cat shirt girl and especially Kad because he is ultimately similar to my long-lost bestfriend. I even like Proto even though he is supposed to be self-insert main character. For the scenery I really love it, It's really beautiful. You can clearly see that game is made by artists just by looking at the title screen. Each terrain, models, textures even each act is a creative masterpiece. I can see their soul in the game and it makes me want to see their other works. The writing and direction is good. Sometimes it is confusing and hard to really makes sense of the words until you play the game again. Not gonna lie my first run is the most chaotic run there are like it is not the way the game is intended to be played because I go past too many places. First, I decided to help someone but then I go astray and fight a boss instead of helping him, and the story progress. Then all hell let loose. My second run is really structured like watching a movie because I choose different and safe path so you can see what I mean. It won't take that long to replay the game though so it's not much of a hassle. Proto's power is a little weird to control. Sometimes the object I hold can get out of bounds, sometimes it just gone into the void. Maybe because I'm playing on controller but I did get used to it. Still, they really need to playtest with controller more because the menu is almost unuseable with controller so I have to click with mouse to navigate the menu instead. I forgot the game is a personality test. It is that immersive. I got same personality for all my runs lol. The issue I should stated is there are BUGS EVERYWHERE. I got lotsa screenshots of bugs I couldn't even count anymore. Out of bounds, not fully overwritten save, boss battle skip glitch, damage abuse, ui zooming, controller's menu navigation, teleportation, text box, speech, character face image, flying, misaligned camera and more. BUT the game is playable. There are no softlocks even with this hell amount of glitches and I am still fully immersed with the game. it runs on full fps too somehow. So that's it, that's Freeride. I really enjoy everything about the game even bugs are funny and helped me sometimes. I also don'tthink about how much the game costs throughout the game so it's pretty obvious that it worth it. I hope the dev can make more games like seriously, I really love this game so much. It is really one of a kind hidden gem.
Truely an underrated gem of a game, a touching story, great characters with development only indie games have these days and a nice personality test on the side to top it off which comes with giving players freedom to do what they want.
I first saw a promotional video for FREERIDE on TikTok before its release. I added it to my wishlist and eagerly waited for it to come out. When I finally got to play it, I have to admit it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. The marketing made the "personality test" seem like a major part of the game, but in reality, the results are a bit disappointing. They're not as accurate as I had hoped, and they don't really have any meaningful impact on the gameplay. Despite that, I ended up really loving the characters and the story. Replaying the game isn't just recommended for the true ending, it's practically necessary if you want to fully understand what's going on. One of the game's strengths is how rewarding it feels as you slowly piece everything together. Every playthrough led me to new locations, events, and interactions, making each run feel like a fresh experience. Yet, even after finally finishing the game, there are some parts of the story that just don’t make sense. The combat system is, frankly, the game's weakest aspect. I genuinely don't know what the developers were thinking. That said, once you get used to it, it's not difficult (aside from the frequent glitches during combat). It is at least creative and unique. So, would I recommend the game? It depends: Don't play it for the personality test. Do play it if you enjoy mysteries, replayability, and bunnies with asthma.
The kind of game you wish you could replay with no memory of your first playthrough <3
I absolutely loved this game. For any game that is intended to be replayable, I greatly believe that the characters must be interesting, lovable and stick with you. This game perfectly accomplishes that. It is gorgeous, the art and sound direction is wonderful, and I shall be thinking about this for a while. As someone who isn't very picky with actual gameplay (I love story and characters the most), I will say that the combat system is a little clunky. But that might be me being bad at games, so take it with a grain of salt. From my playthrough, I managed to get through without fighting really, which is perfectly viable with how versatile this game is. All in all, a wonderful experience, and I will be trying to get all achievements when I get time.
I'm still finding new things in the game, but so far Freeride surprised me in the best way! The characters are memorable and the writing is genuinely captivating and fun. Dialogue and interaction are well balanced. The soundtrack is a delight through the game. The details and references in the game were hilarious to find. YOU CAN PICK UP A LOT OF ITEMS, YOU CAN HORDE THEM, YOU CAN THROW THEM, YOU CAN EAT THEM (all-of-them). Yes, there's a personality test, but there is also a very fleshed out story with a healthy amount of mystery to theorize on with each narrative branch you play to bring more of the story together-if you choose to explore the game after playing for a personality results.
One of my favourite games at the moment, it's seriously underrated!! The combat was a bit hard bc its just throwing stuff but trust me im not here for the combat LMAO ive grown soso attached to all of the characters even after just doing two endings [at this point in time], i absolutely love how you can alter the entire route of the game just be wandering off somewhere. it kind of reminds me undertale? in a vibe way i guess. thats probably why i like it so much!!
