You know another RPG maker RPG. What else to say? Stay with the classics Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Secret of Mana, Romancing Saga and such. In case of most RPG maker games they tend to be ripoff from earlier great RPGs from consoles. Usually they won't introduce anything new except somewhat different visuals but in terms of gameplay you just gonna waste your time by playing those so pick only few best if you wish and move forward.
This is another bad, tedious slog of an RPG maker game that really wasn't thought through design wise. The dungeons are boring and seem to go on and on endlessly, even using the arrow indicators provided it was a terrible maze of bad design, tiles everywhere are hard to tell where you can and can't walk. Many of the events are timed meaning you're going to miss a ton of content if you're not following a guide constantly. Tons of annoying collectibles. Painfully slow movement in a game that CONSTANTLY requires you to backtrack if you want to complete it in a meaningful way. The game has NO WAY to fast travel and if you want to backtrack and turn in a quest, you might find yourself literally staring and walking for an hour just to turn it in. This is completely unforgivable and DESTROYS the pacing of this game, the game has the gall to award achievements for NOT SKIPPING THROUGH ALREADY COMPLETED AREAS insisting you walk through all these areas SLOWLY for hours over and over again to constantly backtrack. The designer doesn't seem to realize the point of making a game in this style nowadays is to keep the aspects of 16 bit RPGs people enjoyed and do away with the aged mechanics that drag it down to a crawl. I also had visible enemy encounters turned on and for some reason I am continually getting ambushed, don't tell me you're going to let me know where enemies are then still hide them anyway. You will spend 70% of this awful game slowly walking from area to area, completely lost as to where to go, even the guide does not tell you specifically where to find side quest items, going through a purposefully visually obfuscated area to find grapes for some idiots wine that has nothing to do with the actual quest of the game which was already generic, tropish and laughable to the point where if you told me this was a free product on a flash site I'd totally believe you. Don't buy the guide, don't waste your time on this horrible slog, the main quest put me to sleep so hard it's not even worth the boring slow walking to get to the ending. I recommend A Timely Intervention if you enjoy this admittedly decent combat system but with a game that RESPECTS your time. This game has 0 regard for the players time, as if I'm going to scour 500 hours playing this to explore every single pixel and hope I wasn't time-gated because everything in this game can't be straightforward it's awkwardly laid out and confusing.
🎮 Reseña de Millennium - A New Hope

Historia7El gancho principal: trama sólida y momentos emocionales.

Ambientación7Fantasía 2D inmersiva si te dejas llevar por la exploración.

Efectos (VFX)5Funcionales; no esperes fuegos artificiales.

Rejugabilidad7La estructura y progreso invitan a regresar y completar.
