A fun game that might be worth your time, if your a fan. But the HD port has frame rate problems, is VERY glitchy, and some parts (like mini-games) are SD. Plus parts of the game can be very very irritating (and very hard). ATI users might have to check the forums on how to get the game to work Buy with CAUTION!!!!
Im a fan of MDK series. This HD version however has many bugs and doesnt even work for me after I went into forums and tried every said fix. So if you have an ati card stay away.
The game itself is great, but this port has problems. For a fix check here http://steamcommunity.com/app/213350/discussions/0/846958724732323457/ p.s. Don't mind 0.4 hrs, i've already beat this game twice before steam :)
Great game! If you decide to play it, make sure to save often enough manually because it sometimes it auto saves just as you are falling into a pit...
As being an AMD CPU owner and an ATI HD6950 owner running the latest 14.11.2 Beta driver; this game runs great! Haven't had any issues that everyone else is talking about. Possibly lucky? I duuno. But I have been having a blast remembering how fun this game is. Good times.
This game is a broken graphical mess! After updating my graphics card and troubleshooting, it still is unplayable!
DON'T BUY THIS HD REMAKE!!! Buy the Classic MDK2 instead. This Game here has a lot of Bugs and also cause many Crashes. Some People can't even run it.
Back in the days of the Pentium and the PS1 there was a little company known as Shiny Entertainment. In addition to a bunch of well-animated games by a less than scrupulous fellow, they made a rather surreal third-person shooter called MDK. Starring a janitor named Kurt Hectic and his parachute-equipped Coilsuit, it went on to become a Cult Classic. In 2000, a sequel came out for the PS2, Dreamcast and PC. This game, while written by a different team, still held up well in spite of feeling a bit different overall from the original. This change in writers came with a requisite change of tone - Whereas MDK1 was a very surreal game and derived much of it's humor from that, MDK2 loves it's refuge in audacity, and has a very action movie feel to it. For example, in few other games will you see a Robotic Dog with a Chain Smoking habit quad-wield miniguns? In spite of the different writing, MDK2 still was a good game simply by virtue of being fun as hell to play. In 2011, Overhaul Games brought MDK2 up to speed. The new models and textures look very good and the game is solid as ever, and the System Requirements are modest as ever (Though you're still gonna need newer hardware to play the HD flavor). My only real gripe? Overhaul did not put much effort into making the game make bettr use of widescreen. Most UI elements (such as the zoom on Kurt's sniper rifle) are still in 4:3, causing a fair deal of letterboxing. This does not make the game any less playable, mind, but is more of a presentation nitpick than anything.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely - would be nice to see a proper sequel or even a nice remake of the 2 games.
Çok eskilerden az sayıda kişinin bildiği muhteşem oyun bugün hala kesintisiz eğlence sunabiliyor.
