Don't know how to start this but first of all this game is truly a masterpiece and i don't know if I'll ever experience anything like this again. I don't want to spoil anything talking about the gameplay but once i completed it, i was completely blown away by its concept and the story. Dunno how come no one knows about this game, it's quite underrated. This is one of those rare games that stays in your mind long after you finish it, and the less you know about it before playing, the better the experience will be.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

peakest peak i have ever peaked, this game made my ultrakill brainroted brain cry for 20 minutes in a simple choice in a video game and changed my view on masculinity and the people of the 21st century. also made me reflect in my choices as a human being until reaching this place. 10/10 would get depression and then jolyness and love for my life again.
Oneshot is a top-down adventure made with the RPGMaker engine although it doesn't look like a RPGMaker game because it uses mostly custom original assets. So not graphically impressive but interesting art design with some nifty special effects (such as fireflies in the Barrens). The gameplay is mostly exploring, talking and solving puzzles; there is no combat. The game was intriguing overall and sometimes challenging. Heck, I was stuck in the first room. I was also stuck because I had a program automatically changing wallpapers on my computer. So keep that in mind and that a few puzzles require thinking "outside the box". I applaud their originality. There was also a very cool surprise reveal when you encountered your first talking person that made the proceedings way more personal. The writing was good, but item descriptions were too brief, and I wish I could have become more emotionally invested. It was easy to get get lost while exploring, but there was that Travel button to important places you had been which I appreciated. At the end, I found Oneshot good, even very good, and I give it points for originality and storytelling, but I was also a bit disappointed, as if something was missing. However, something I discovered later on elevated the game to remarkable and memorable status. I'll mention that spoiler in the comment box below with spoiler tags but only check it out after you've finished the game. P.S. Another newer version of this game exists called "World Machine" edition, but I suggest playing this version here if you're on PC.
a seemly simple 2D pixel story-puzzle game about saving a world from darkness but with a kinda deep/dark story. beautiful game. but also, it's undertale but if toby fox locked in
I absolutely loved this game. From the very beginning, I was captivated by its atmosphere, its story, and the emotional connection it creates with the player. OneShot is a truly unique experience that manages to feel personal and meaningful in a way that many games do not. The way it plays with the relationship between the player and the world is incredibly well done, and it makes the journey feel much more special. The art direction and overall design are absolutely beautiful. I especially appreciate the visual choices, because the game manages to create a very distinct identity without relying on overwhelming contrasts or uncomfortable visuals. As someone who can struggle with harsh contrast, I really value how thoughtful the design feels. The colours, lighting, and presentation make the game feel immersive while also being much more comfortable to look at for people who may have visual sensitivities. It shows that accessibility and creativity can work together perfectly. Another thing that stood out to me is the amount of care put into every detail. The characters, the environment, the music, and even the smallest moments all contribute to making the world feel alive. The game does not just tell a story, it makes you feel like you are part of it. I think OneShot is a beautiful example of how a game can be simple in appearance but incredibly deep emotionally. It is memorable, creative, and full of heart. I genuinely recommend it to anyone looking for a different kind of gaming experience, one that stays with you even after you finish playing. Amazing work from the developers.
Wonderful and amazing experience, I never would expect it to be this wonderfully structured. Now I understand why everyone loves the game, please cherish it as much as possible!
An incredible short, sweet and emotionally devastating game
In the first 40mins of this game, this game has already impressed me far more than almost any other game I've played. This game is something special and I would already highly recommend it. Update: Having now completed the game, I can safely say that was one of the most unique and best games I've ever played, Everything about this game is as close to perfection as it could be, the soundtrack, the dialogue, the puzzles, the art. If you are at all considering this game, buy it, you will not regret it.
