OneShot

Don't know how to start this but first of all this game is truly a masterpiece and i don't know if I'll ever experience anything like this again. I don't want to spoil anything talking about the gameplay but once i completed it, i was completely blown away by its concept and the story. Dunno how come no one knows about this game, it's quite underrated. This is one of those rare games that stays in your mind long after you finish it, and the less you know about it before playing, the better the experience will be.

peakest peak i have ever peaked,this game made my ultrakill brainroted brain cry for 20 minutes in a simple choice in a video game and changed my view on masculinity and the people of the 21st century. also made me reflect in my choices as a human being until reaching this place. 10/10 would get depression and then jolyness and love for my life again.

I absolutely loved this game. From the very beginning, I was captivated by its atmosphere, its story, and the emotional connection it creates with the player. The art direction and overall design are absolutely beautiful. I especially appreciate the visual choices, because the game manages to create a very distinct identity without relying on overwhelming contrasts or uncomfortable visuals. As someone who can struggle with harsh contrast, I really value how thoughtful the design feels. The colours, lighting, and presentation make the game feel immersive while also being much more comfortable to look at for people who may have visual sensitivities. It shows that accessibility and creativity can work together perfectly. Another thing that stood out to me is the amount of care put into every detail. The characters, the environment, the music, and even the smallest moments all contribute to making the world feel alive. The game does not just tell a story, it makes you feel like you are part of it. I think OneShot is a beautiful example of how a game can be simple in appearance but incredibly deep emotionally. It is memorable, creative, and full of heart. I genuinely recommend it to anyone looking for a different kind of gaming experience, one that stays with you even after you finish playing. Amazing work from the developers.

Wonderful and amazing experience, I never would expect it to be this wonderfully structured. Now I understand why everyone loves the game, please cherish it as much as possible!

An incredible short, sweet and emotionally devastating game

In the first 40mins of this game, this game has already impressed me far more than almost any other game I've played. This game is something special and I would already highly recommend it. Update: Having now completed the game, I can safely say that was one of the most unique and best games I've ever played, Everything about this game is as close to perfection as it could be, the soundtrack, the dialogue, the puzzles, the art. If you are at all considering this game, buy it, you will not regret it.

OneShot is an amazing experience that everyone should go through. I won't say much, in order to avoid spoilers, but it has some Undertale vibes with less fights (none actually) and more puzzles. Speaking of the puzzles, most are pretty easy and I'm not sure if I should even call them puzzles, there is a decently difficult one and a few things (again, not sure if they fall into the puzzle category) which I definitely wouldn't have been able to do without internet assistance. Which is definitely a negative, but it's a negative far too small to outshine the awesome journey that is this game. Also, unlike Undertale, you can rebind your controls, which already makes it a million times better. The last thing I think I can say that should be interesting and spoiler-free is that OneShot manages to achieve immersion through completely out of the ordinary means, almost like a different take on immersion, if you will. Pretty cool soundtrack too, but the music that I really enjoyed was only in one area. Anyway, as I said, it's amazing, you should totally get and play it.

an extremely creative game with a delightful story. also a very fun 100% experience despite the game’s insistence on playing it only once if you’re on a steam deck/linux, get the world machine edition. the original doesn’t work particularly well on linux systems apparently
