Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Fantastic city builder. I like that the RTS component (Kingdom) is optional. The devs have picked up the communication in the last year which is great. Some quality of life improvements remain, a little more variety for crafting goods and improving farming with variety as well with new crops and animals.
Mostly AFK time because the game doesn't really grab your attention. Build orders are janky as all get out. Cloisters are hell to design. UI leaves tons to be desired (accidentally deleting buildings is a real concern). It's a very pretty, but also very basic city builder with less than ideal controls. I think I have about 40 hours in it, enough to know I am not going to play anymore. If you are a fan of genre, this offers nothing new.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hyperfixation goes hard. I've hardly slept since I started playing this, but at least my city is prospering, even if I'm not. ETA: Semi-regular crashes starting around 1300 population, turning down some of the graphics settings and hoping that helps.
This game rules, it also sometimes treats you like an abusive partner. It's really fun but prepare to restart your entire run due to bugs rather than mechanics. Tents not attaching to market stalls? restart. Enter game: ok cool now the tents attach but there's a water shortage? It just seems to break based on the position of the moon or something. P.S. This game is huge and the tutorial barely covers anything, Prepare to google.
Fun game, mechanics are cool, couple bugs here and there, nothing gamebreaking. What is gamebreaking is the performance, on a laptop that can run ray traced cyberpunk and other GPU heavy AAA games at over 60 fps, this game runs at 29 fps on high settings at 1440p, and 23 fps on lowest settings at 1080p on linux, on windows the performance is even worse. Unless you got atleast a mid tier latest gen GPU, I cant recommend this game. I hope the devs will optimise it eventually as the game itself looks like a lot of fun, but when I looked for help online, it seems performance has always been an issue.
