Absolutely love the game however I just with it was deeper. I know it's a city builder but damnit this game is set up so well for some sort of combat. It would add so much more replayability. Actually use your city walls and towers for defense. Control the armies you send out to attack a neighboring city. Yes, I know that's not what the game is but it's set up so well for it. It would be so incredible if there were other regions to trade or go to war with. You can already upgrade the soldiers' weapons, experience, etc.
I like it
17 hours in and this is everything I ever wanted from a city builder/management game. Gridless building, monuments with so many different ways to build/decorate them, great graphics...I could go on. There are a few issues that I hope get ironed out. The paved road system, patrolling, and fortifications are wonky, and the way the residences degrade if any of them isn't at 100% all the time is annoying. Logistics over long distances is impossible. If you have your bakery and warehouse on one side of your city, expect the other side of the city to starve because the warehouse on that side can't go that far to pick it up. Mods do fix some of these issues, but they're a pain to use with a game that still has regular updates. Overall, its a solid 9/10 and I expect to be playing this for a good long time. NOW DO ROME :)

VERY GOOD
Great game if you enjoy designing complex castles that aren't defendable from attacks.
Tout bonnement génial
Intuitive and fun city builder.
Pas compliqué, sympa et coloré, avec une belle courbe d'évolution.
I have been wanting to buy this game for a long time and did a week ago. I have been hooked ever since. I highly recommend to give it a try. Its easily one of the best city builder games I have played recently.
