A great little city builder. The development of your town feels more organic than others I've played so it really feels like you are watching the settlement grow from nothing while you shape it's ultimate destiny. There's a good selection of options for how you can play, different resources you can invest in or trade for and different ways to unlock new features. Definitely recommend.
I picked this up in early access but didn't really touch it until a month or so before the full release. When I started I didn't know why I hadn't tried it yet. I love city builders and especially medieval ones. The pre release was excellent, and the full release didn't disapoint with a beautiful new art style and new systems. Is it perfect? No of course not. They're putting out updates, they're working on DLCs for down the line (which I'm curious to see) and in general I'd say it's 100% worth a shot if you like City Builders, especially cozier ones.
enjoyable builder, bit hard to figure out where to place things at the start but after a few tries I've gotten a bit better.
There's a lot of things I've needed to learn by asking google and reddit, that I wish was just understandable by the UI of the game. Things aren't explained as clearly in descriptions, if at all in some places. Beyond that, I've put 126 hours in the game and I never would put that much time into a game I didn't like. Probably the best civilization build game I've ever played. I'd tell anyone who likes these types of games to definitely give this one a try.
The first thing that has absolutely turned me away from wanting to play despite how pretty this game can be.. the Territories... Why is HALF the map completely unusable and its the ONE SIDE THAT LOOKS PRETTY?? "Oh you wanted this Cliff side town surrounded by rocky cliffs that are surrounded by pretty ocean views?? No you get to be in the COMPLETE OPPOSITE corner of the map and its gonna be TINYYY. Have fun though! <3" like i haven't even started playing i've tried making 4 new seeds HOPING i could get a pretty plot but no.. the only pretty sides are completely unusable for NO REASON?.. i almost want to refund this game and i just got it....
UPDATE:
I do like the game and the way it focuses on aesthetics while keeping some realism so I will be changing my Initial rating. After playing for a few hours i've noticed once you settle you start expanding your village pretty early on, so the first plot you buy is starting village status and you work your way up. I was kind of expecting this ofc (it is a city builder) i didnt realize however it would add MORE plots after starting. SO that initial plot you get isnt the entire map, there will be more which i mean makes sense but i just wish there weren't such awful starting points after you can customize a seed to your liking, so if you have a vision for the location of your village you might have to work your way there..
Superchill. like the artstyle. mechanics are very deep.
jednoduše odychovka ale neni to na věky. Člověka to bude bavit
