Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Excellent game, arguably the best city builder ive ever played
One of the best entries in the city builder genre. It has issues with performance, but demanding requirements is quite common for city builders anyway. This game is a labour of love from the devs, with continued support since it's Kickstarter success that significantly impact the game's QOL and gameplay loop.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Это один из лучших градостроительных симуляторов! никаких тайлов, жители сами по зонам комфортно строят свои домики! Классные функции постройки важных зданий, дворцов, гарнизонов и милые декорации! Очень рекомендую, крепкое 10\10
I cannot believe how obsessed I am with this game, I am completely in love with it. I cannot get enough of it, I even dream about it!
DEVS HAVE BROKEN GAME PROGRESSION DO NOT BUY
Everything makes sense in this city builder. Logistics, districts, city development. resource management. I am not the biggest fan of medieval aesthetics but this one clicks. I wish it had more updates. Thx.
Bought this years ago while the project was in early access hoping it could be modded by the community into a more reasonable Rimworld 2.0 alternative. Stopped playing it for while. Now that it is out of early access I reinstalled it. Noticed right off the bat that the ultra settings are the same on a potato machine as they are on a high end gaming PC with 5000 series RTX card. Which is an interesting choice. But can't even get through the tutorial again due to a weird issue. When pressing down on the middle mouse button and dragging up and down hoping to just tilt the camera, the camera goes insane spiraling around even when the camera is at ground level or back in the top down position. Also you cant zoom out. This is also a choice on the developers side so that you remain constrained to the itty bitty village area but makes it feel like you are chained to the ground. Pretty much at the point of just uninstalling because this is unplayable. Back to rimworld i guess.
Cool at first, but then gets stale very fast, unfortunately. It has potential, so I might revisit a few updates later.
a lovely freeform village creator, the map generator is a bit finnicky but it's a lovely game all around
