The scariest game in the series period. I didn't even play it back when it came out because I was so scared. What I think is great is that this game can work and be understood even without the larger context of fnaf universe. While gameplay can get repetetive it's still keeps you on your toes unlike fnaf 2 that was built on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rng. The idea of listening to the sound monsters are making is genius and really makes the whole game. The only downside is design of animatronics themselves. They look stupid not scary. There's nothing earie or off feeling about them, they're just big ugly monsters with 15 set of teeth each. Night 5 is probably the most interesting one cuz it's one big duel between you and Fredbear. And unlike his best pal Springtrap, Fredbear is actually threatening enemy who doesn't just ignore game rules when he feels like it or acts like he has one brain cell. Classic fnaf ended on a very high note with this one, because it's only downhill from here.
