I love this game but it also does my absolute head in and I likely won't be touching it again after I beat night 6. It has an extremely cool setting, genuinely creepy atmosphere and hands down some of the best character designs in the whole series and the earlier nights are very fun as well as unsettling the first time around! However, the thing stopping me from recommending it is how absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game can be with the difficulty. It's not that it's just hard, that's a skill issue & get good problem, this game is super unbalanced and can be infuriatingly unfair. There's a difference between dying because you weren't fast enough putting the mask on and Withered Bonnie got you, and dying because the rancid cheddar cheese fart that is Golden Freddy decided to kill you before the opacity on his sprite was high enough for you to physically be able to see him. Animatronics range in difficulty from fast as lightning and up your arse every nano-second until 6 am, to so placid and useless I forget they're there, even on the last nights. I genuinely don't think I was killed by Toy Chica, Toy Freddy, or the Puppet once, and Withered Foxy is literally only a threat if you're really not paying attention and let BB in or you get caught in a stupid stack of attacks and aren't able to flash him in the chaos. Oh the CHAOS it's a shame how great the aforementioned atmosphere and designs are because you never get to appreciate them because of the constant barrage of ♥♥♥♥ being thrown at you, it's set up like a creeping, uneasy game that makes you feel exposed and watched in your massive, doorless office but is paced like an MLG noscope compilation being played at 2x speed. The amount of times you get stuck in character stacks that are genuinely impossible to get out of is ridiculous, you go from twiddling your thumbs waiting for anything to happen to being jumped by 10 animatronics at once in an instant because the RNG decides everyone gets to do their thing at the same bloody time. I'd only recommend bothering with this one if you're A: A massive FNAF fan, B: Trying to beat every game in the series and you need it for your list, or C: Not gonna take it too seriously and are mostly here to play around with nights 1-3. Go play Five Nights at Freddy's 2: REIMAGINED on Roblox instead, it's the same game but didn't make me want to bite my own fingers off in rage.

Probably my favorite but also the most stressfull game in the series. Mask mechanic is fun and the new animatronics have cool designs. This game is not scary however, way less so than fnaf 1
