About
Strap on your boots, don your helmet, adjust your shoulder guards and chest plate… and slip a sharpened dagger into your belt (discreetly).
Wars are no longer fought in the Old World since the populace decided to resolve their differences through a sport dedicated to the god Nuffle: Blood Bowl. However, just as much blood is shed in this sport as on the battlefields it replaced. Murder, mutilation, cheating, corruption, sorcery and even divine intervention are all fair game on the pitch, to the delight of every rabid fan!
An agent has spotted your coaching achievements on the pitch and has decided to pay for you and your team to participate in a brand-new Blood Bowl event: the Clash of Sponsors. Can you destroy your opponents and make the crowd dream?
As well as the campaign and friendly matches against other players or the AI, Blood Bowl 3 has an all-new competitive mode in which you can compete against other players of all levels and from all over the world:

Honestly, I regret buying. I tried to refund but was just outside the return window... So I'm still trying to find a way to enjoy it going against friends and online. BUT HEED THIS WARNING!!! IF YOU WANT TO SOLELY PLAY AGAINST AI DO ** NOT** BUY THIS GAME. When the game first came out the AI was incredibly stupid. But now they are unbeatable and this is because of the very unrealistic RNG. The Dice rolls are so absolutely loaded and unrealistic. I failed a 99% check 3 times in one game... And the AI LITERALLY was injuring and KOing my entire team within a single turn even when at -3 stacks. No seriously... an ORC team... with only 1 unit that wasnt either prone, KOed, Seriously injured, or dead. And if you say F it and quit, you do auto lose and your stuck looking at it unless you reset campaign. Not to mention you see all the other teams coming out per season, but you gotta pay for them. They are not free and not just unlockable. I'm trying to get what I can out of the game, but seriously, I rarely make review, and this one is infuriating enough to simply plead to everyone DO NOT BUY. ** DO NOT BUY **
Half cooked perma online no save function user unfriendly joke of a game. Need to have a life mid match, nope, you just forfeited. Internet issue comes up? You just forfeited again. All the AI complaints from other reviers are fair, but how do you make a game so incredibly user unfriendly?
Oh, how I was hoodwinked! As an old school reader of White Dwarf and collector of Citadel figurines from the 80s, who carefully backed away in the early 90s as my wallet began to suffer, I should have known not to take Games Workshop at their word, but I succumbed during the recent sale and thought I'd give this a try. I played the original board game at the time for a while and enjoyed it. I did not enjoy this at all. First impressions seemed promising. I enjoyed the cut scene. Then came the team creation system, which saw me accidentally cancel by pressing 'back' from one screen to see a previous one, resetting the whole process half a dozen times. Finally, I began a game, and... what, exactly, am I supposed to be doing? Nothing, absolutely nothing, is explained to you. I played half a game with all of my players lying on the ground, before I discovered just by frustrated clicking, searching for a button to direct the 'apothecary' (there isn't one) that they could have a chance to get up! A 'chance' to is the salient word here. Because nothing you do really matters. You position and manoeuvre, and then the game rolls dice and you get knocked out, beaten to a pulp, sacrificed to the Chaos Lords, and the AI has a turn in which everything works out for them. Everything. The game runs entirely upon the random roll of the dice. Oh, and it doesn't explain that - if by some miracle one of your players manages to run to and pick up the ball - they can't then throw it to an open catcher... because you didn't select the tiny unmarked menu to 'move and pass' that turn. I quit out halfway through the first match. I'm sure it seemed like a good idea to simply translate the game rules directly into a computer game. If it works in real life, why not on a screen? I think that they underestimated the lack of agency that the random elements offers when you are not even able to hold and move physical pieces. Actually seeing the dice fail over and over on screen enhances this frustration. At the least, this sorry experience has made me nostalgic for the board game. I genuinely think that you would have a better time playing that, with some kind of rule book at least to hand, and most importantly friends to explain and enjoy it with you.
This game blows. $30 and you then have to pay for the complete team roster?? crazy. charge for cosmetics, sure but charging for """DLC""" s that shold be in the base game shows insane greed. Additionally the controlls are clunky, UI sucks, and the game doesnt even run smooth on my device. Rigged dice roles are insanely frustrating. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
I have over 200 hours of play time in older versions of Blood Bowl, and even owned the physical game at one point. I love the tabletop ruleset. But this implementation is no good. I struggled with the menus, fumbled my way into a tutorial, blundered through the bizarre in game UI. Gave up on trying to play with the tutorial and decided to jump into a single-player vs AI friendly match with pre-made teams just to get a feel for the engine and implementation. Everything felt stuttery and clunky. Noped out after just a couple turns. Truly unbearable.
It would be nice if the programers of this game would take the time to actually learn how blood bowl is played so they could have the AI play the game decently instead of using the random number generator to cheat all the die rolls in favor of the AI making it unfun and thus unplayable. Worst money I have ever spent do not bother wasting money on this program as it is also not even 3rd edition rules like it is advertised for.
If you like Blood Bowl you'll like this game. It's come a long way since the launch and is now completely playable. The UI can take a little getting use to as a complete beginner and PvP is where this game excels with the usual on pitch fun. Awaiting BB3 morphing into Warhammer Blood Blood for the updated ruleset to be incorporated.
Si tu objetivo es divertirte jugando Blood Bowl como harías con el de mesa, este no es el juego indicado.
this game is trash!!! teams roll out so slowly; they ban you unless you play out every game to the end. not worth the money. worse than all the previous blood bowl games.
Yo qué sé mi loco....
