About
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.

I have 40+ hours on PS5 and only thing I haven't played is the Rising Tide dlc. I love this game and the performance on PC is better than PS5 but not for 120fps. DLSS is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Also, one thing that really, really annoys me is the hold R2 to open "heavy" doors. What is the purpose of it? Why? Why? Why??????????????????

Wow wow ww what an amazing looking game. Playing this on a hand held PC (not steamdeck) is just on another level... plays as smooth as butter...the audio is incredible and the visuals ..just pure bliss.... cannot recommend this game more... especially if you are playing on the Go.. on a couch or in bed... no matter its amazing.
goose bumps 10/10
Great game would recommend!
To be honest, i love the game, the characters, and the story so much. Clive and his party is well built, i love Jill and her background, story may be the strongest aspect of this game. But beside of that, Unfortunately the gameplay is barebone, bad motion captures ( if there are ), no party-system, no rpg-elements, no elemental-system, lazy side quests ( like a mmo ), bad map design,... I completely have no urge to explore the map, because there are not any worth-time spending things. Repetitive combat ( yeah you will have like 9 skills, goodluck spaming buttons during the gap ). So even though i am a fan of the franchise, i can not recommend this game to anyone who never play any ff game before, FF7 remake and rebirth are definitely better choices for realtime-based combat but still remain some aspects of the turn-based. At last, FF16 is more like a movie, the story is the biggest motivation for me to progress through the game. 5,5-6/10 IMO.
I am loving the story.
After getting further in the game, it made me sick and puked of scenes that are forced on the player. Game is a 5/7 or 71.43% Story - no World - yes Music - yes Sound - yes Characters - yes MC - no Gameplay - yes
its fun
Once you get past the fact that it is really a DMC game, it starts to click. Combat is smooth and satisfying. Story is grand, but not as over-the-top as some other FF titles. Soundtrack is killer and voice acting was surprisingly well done.
