About
Unique visuals inspired by medieval manuscripts and medical books.
Hyper satisfying physical interactions with ingredients and equipment.
Sandbox style gameplay where you have many different avenues available, and it’s up to you to figure out the best way to complete each task.
Sell your potions to the townsfolk while roleplaying as a noble artisan, a greedy weasel, an occult dark master, or whomever else you may wish to be!
Leaves, flowers, berries, roots, fruits, minerals, and a plethora of mushrooms are at the ready for your mortar and pestle. Just like espresso, the fineness of the grind matters!
Concoct your potion plan. Grind ingredients and carefully mix them in your cauldron. Heat the coals. Boil and stir. Add the base: water, oil, or… something else. Congrats on your first potion! Was it easy to learn? Now try mastering it!
Carefully plan your route via the Alchemy Map to combine different effects. Be mindful of common sense: you won’t find a market for a poisonous healing potion… right? Or would you?
Every day customers will come to your store looking for solutions to their problems. You will face consequences depending on what you decide to sell them. Attract guilds, befriend notable figures (or feud with them), gain riches and influence - and one day, you may even decide the fate of the whole town.
Every alchemist needs ingredients, and there are many ways to get them! You can buy them from traveling merchants: it can be pricey, but successful haggling may save you some coin. Or take matters into your own hands and cultivate your very own enchanted garden. Grow a variety of ingredients, from vibrant herbs to exotic mushrooms and even magical crystals, each essential for brewing your unique potions!
Want to give your best potions a special look? Go for it! Change the bottle shape, label type, icon and colours. You can even give it a custom name and label description. Carefully arrange your unique potions to showcase them on your shop's shelves and tables... or go a step further and customize your shop itself! Choose from a variety of furniture and shelving to give your alchemy shop a personal touch that matches your style. We won't tell you what to do, just have fun!

When I started playing this game, I got incredibly hooked, clocking in 8 hours on my first day. I enjoyed expanding my shop and unlocking new potions. However, as I played more and got used to the potion-making system, the fun started to wear off and making potions started to feel monotonous. Also, it quickly became frustrating trying to upgrade my shop. One of the most fun parts about upgrading in games is saving up for the upgrade and getting that little boost of dopamine once you have enough money to buy it. However, since I always had enough money to buy the upgrades the first time I saw them, I never got the satisfaction of slowly building up towards them. Effectively, apart from brewing new potions, all other shop progress you can make (new plants, alchemy machine upgrades, garden expansions, etc.) is entirely random since you just have to wait for the merchant who sells the upgrade to appear at your shop. It also doesn’t help that none of those shop upgrades actually make things easier, they just unlock more gardening space, more salts, and more potion bases (which felt especially underbaked). The upgrades in the skill tree were nice, but none were particularly exciting. I completed nine out of the ten chapters, but when I saw how insane the grind to complete Chapter X was, I decided to call it quits. Overall, while the core gameplay of creating potions was a lot more fun than I expected, once you’ve unlocked all the potions, creating new ones felt quite boring. And without upgrades or events that alter or expand upon the gameplay, it makes it very easy to tire of the gameplay loop. If the potion crafting looks especially fun to you, then I’d definitely recommend this game. But for the average player, I just don’t think there’s enough to this game to warrant trying it out.
Fun and cozy game with nice visuals. It can however get a bit repetitive after a while as it's just the same steps over and over again. So this is more of a game for if you're just looking for something relaxing to play every now and then
Duhota
