About
Since launch, Moonlighter has received a wealth of updates—from quality-of-life improvements and balance tweaks to major roadmap additions. The current version expands the original experience with new mini-bosses, gear, over 100 new room layouts, Companions, deeper lore, and a New Game+ mode packed with fresh challenges.
But Will is an unwavering adventurer, and his story doesn’t end here. In 2026, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault—now available in Early Access—will receive its full release, expanding on every aspect of the beloved shopkeeping action-RPG formula and reimagining it with vibrant, fully 3D visuals.

During a long-passed archaeological excavation, a set of Gates were discovered. People quickly realized that these ancient passages lead to different realms and dimensions – providing brave and reckless adventurers with treasures beyond measure. Rynoka, a small commercial village, was founded near the excavation site providing refuge and a place for adventurers to sell their hard-earned riches.

fun game, but when it says controller recommended it lies controller REQUIRED. You CAN NOT play on keyboard more than one the action/attack, inventory, and cancel buttons just stopped working, forcing me to restart the game.
There is literally no mouse support... extremely annoying to play if you use keyboard instead of a controller. Especially the menus. Feels like a cheap console port to PC.
7/10. It was a good time, but it definitely is not something I would binge play, simply because it is very repetitive. There's four dungeons that have pretty much the same type of random gen layout but are reskinned with a new theme each time. You get items from the dungeons to make better gear and sell anything extra. Each new dungeon has different enemies and different items to sell/craft. That is pretty much the whole game. Also the writing is bad and mostly sounds like a kid wrote it. Its pretty short unless you really suck. I got the achievement for beating it in less than 10 hours despite steam saying i have 20; I probably was afk alot.
gameplay de traficante de mercadorias ilegais
Pretty fun gameplay loop, going into the dungeon at night and selling artifacts and items from those dungeons at daytime. Story was okay, I really liked the pixel-artstyle! I wish you where able to upgrade the backpack tho
HORRENDOUS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls and remapping, zero ps4/ps5 controller support somehow with several button remappings just not working? Keyboard and mouse support is equally awful, if not worse with remapping just not working half the time. Couldn't even get more than 20 minutes into the game total because of how horrible the controls are. Why is DODGE the same button to open a menu if you held it .001 seconds longer? Why is right trigger pause? The pixel art is pretty good but that's the only praise I can give to this, getting a refund because Jesus Christ make your game playable.
After 100% this game, everything feels quarter baked: the combat, dungeon/enemies, the store, and even the UI with how glitchy it can be. The weapons types are uninteresting as they are virtually the same with only swing-speed and range changed. No unique properties such as the spear piercing an invincible enemy's armor, or the great sword stunning/knockback enemies. No real reason to not just use the spear, with the bow, since its medium-fast attack, large hitbox, and range makes it better and safer than any other weapon. Upgrading weapons just provides a flat damage increase, nothing else, which will becomes instantly useless in the next dungeon. Enchantments are just as boring as they also just provide a flat damage or health increase depending on gear type (Why not make this an RNG element with random effects such as steal 2% health from enemy, 0.1% chance to instant kill enemy, etc?). Movement is clunky and dodging just feels terrible and unresponsive to quick movements. This makes damage from later dungeons' damage tiles and pit falls feel unavoidable, especially with the absurdly spongy melee and ranged enemies. Some enemy attacks are way to annoying when paired with another or a bad room layout, making it just a game of trading blows. While killing them quickly would solve this, in later dungeons EVERY enemy is a HP and damage tank and will take 10-20 hits to kill. Enemy hitboxes are weirdly inconsistent do to poor telegraphing and hit detection. Some enemies can just teleport into the player with no warning and/or will hit the player before any visual cue, especially the ranged enemies. "Progression" is WAY too grindy and RNG based as you might need to go through the same dungeon for the tenth time to get rare materials and unlock a flat 100+ increase (Again instantly useless in the next dungeon). For the dungeon's generation, while the floor layout is different, rooms are not (clearly handcrafted enemy placement). This isn't necessarily bad as it ensures a room is possible, but there is very little room variety as its not uncommon to see the same room for the 3rd time in a single ~8 minute run. 95% of the amulets/rings are useless, clones of each other, and/or just don't work as intended (Resistant to X). Most provide no unique gameplay changes/mechanics, just more flat increases. Majority of minions are useless as most only damage enemies and have terrible range, which quickly becomes out-scaled by enemy health. Two of them are clearly outclass the rest. These problems are emphasized 10x by the DLC where it devolves into killing the exact same 10 rooms with the same 10 enemies over and over again for 9 floors. Upgrading gear is even more tedious as there are two very common recipe materials only dropped, BY CHANCE, by their relatively rare respective SINGULAR enemy. I had runs where I didn't find either one of them for 6 floors and you'll need about ~20 of one material to fully upgrade your gear. The store gameplay is ok but unnotable. Very repetitive by nature and almost nothing changes throughout the game. Discovering the correct price for objects is fairly tedious, especially since you will have to do it 4 separate times due to dungeon type price hike. For some reason upgrading the store introduces more "threats" (thieves and that damn bird at tier 4)? A town upgrade should be a damn public shaming block with how the exact same MALICIOUS, EVIL, NO GOOD characters will just steal from the exact same shop everyday. You will unlock an assistant who will sell things for you when going into the dungeon, but only keep 70% of the value (and I think tips from decorations aren't be added? So virtually a useless feature if you want to make money). When you are at the shop she is SUPPOSED to stop thieves, but she is the exact same speed as them so it doesn't work that well. Some Notable Glitches: >Fairly commonly I got stuck in the backpack UI and had to restart the game (Especially if it was full for some reason) >Sometimes the floor tile visuals glitched out and covered up pitfalls >When returning from the dungeon objects I collected would be dropped outside behind the store >Sounds and music just don't work? Especially for the bosses where its muted until you pause
Moonlighter Nota: 6/10 Divertido. A melhor coisa é a parte da loja; a parte do combate fica devendo.
Cute game of being an adventurer at night and being a shopkeeper during the day.
