I'm having a blast with this one. back in the day i refused to play it because i thought the main character looked gay af, but now in 2026 he doesn't look so gay compared to real lgtv+ woke dei infected gayms. i have 100 hours and idk why this felt so short. i'm already at bahamut but it has been this long because of the filler hunting missions, anyway it's still fun. playing these classics makes me see what makes a final fantasy so fun. it doesnt need to age with its customers. final fantasy 16 felt to boring, uninteresting, it had hunts just as this one but 16 felt more like a chore. it even have similar mastermind alien final bosses, but 12 has something else, it feels more honest, like a real story to tell.

已經玩38小時了，打開遊戲突然"白屏"一直跳出致命錯誤，從此我就再也進不去了……爛…退我錢阿!

It's a good game with an interesting combat system and easily some of the best optional/endgame content in any Final Fantasy game. Though the port is awful and the main cast are some of the weakest in the series. The story also completely falls apart in the last third, it feels rushed like it was rewritten several times; ending with I'd say the worst final boss in the entire main series. Still, this is one of the better Final Fantasy games and despite its flaws is absolutely worth a playthrough, if nothing else just to play around with the gambit system. How did they go from this to 13.

throw on mods in from nexusmods, and this is so much fun

I have never played a game where in the early levels I am afraid of cacti, dogs and the inexorable advance of an empire. Feels1500sman, 10/10
