It is a time of war. Galbadia, a Global Superpower, has declared war on Dollet, a country whose training academy is home to two personalities: the hot-headed Seifer and the 'lone wolf', Squall Leonhart. Both are equally at conflict with each other as their country is with Galbadia; to others, Squall appears lacking in team spirit, while...

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The best Final Fantasy game ever. Relatable characters, great music, fun combat, and a great story. I've played all of the "best" FF games and VIII is the only one I can play over and over again without getting bored.
Final Fantasy VIII is kind of the ugly duckling surrounded by its masterpiece siblings FF VII, FF IX and FF X and to be honest, a lot of its core gameplay mechanics are not as well refined as in those other games and sometimes even kind of inconsistent, but I still consider FF VIII to be a pretty good JPRG, although my personal opinion is certainly influenced by nostalgia, as I have played it as a teenager in when it originally came out.

11 on sale4 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 4 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 11 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Guardian Forces: Bendiciones y Maldiciones
Weird, goofy, experimental, narrated in a very strange way, translatiom issues. And still, best from the series for me. I prefer 2013 version to remaster.
Before talking about the game itself I have to point out that, for reasons I can't begin to guess, you're required to use a separate launcher and have a SE account. For a Playstation game. From 1999. That problem speaks for itself, as does the fact that I had to basically invoke dark spirits through a complex forbidden ritual just to make it recognize my controller. I think I had to download a custom controller layout for Big Picture mode or something, which I've never had to do for any other game ever. As for the game, I genuinely can't fathom why this is the "black sheep" of final fantasy games, nor why people rave about it. It's hard to even say anything other than "it's fine" because...it's fine. It's not terrible, it's not great, and it's not really that out there. It's just alright. The junction system is a little odd at first but you get used to it pretty quick, and it's really not as big of a deal as it seems at first to have to sacrifice some power by using magic you junction to a stat because to be honest, you won't be using magic much anyway. Except for revives and a few protection spells, you don't need it. There's some grinding involved to get a lot of good magic to junction but that applies to literally every jrpg in existence. I beat every boss and optional boss except Omega Weapon and I didn't use 90% of the game's spells, which is a problem on its own but it negates the other possible complaint of having to choose between using magic or junctioning it. Overall, the junction system is an interesting idea and fine for a single entry. It doesn't make the game worse, but I wouldn't say it makes it better. The cast is pretty weak, honestly. None of them felt terribly interesting, though Squall might be the most accurately written teenage boy ever because "broody and insistent on doing things himself because he doesn't want to get hurt until he sees one (1) hot girl and then immediately loses his mind over her" is the most teenage boy behavior imaginable. The soundtrack was okay, but I can't think of a single song I actually thought was memorable. The voiced one wasn't too bad, though. Summoning cutscene length for GFs is kind of annoying, but as you progress through the game if you're actually engaging with the junction system you'll get to a point where there's no need to summon them. Eden is nice since it can break the damage cap but the summon cutscene takes over a minute which is rough. Gameplay itself was alright, like it played the same as any other Playstation game from almost 30 years ago. Not too hard to control, a little clunky at times but not impossible. The final dungeon was a little obnoxious but most of the other ones weren't too bad. Which again all just comes back around to "it's fine". It's a completely average game that's not a waste of time to play but won't absolutely stun, either. It's fine.
Triple Triad
This isnt a game. Its just a bunch of credits for a game. After 10 minutes of unskipable credits I just got a refund
