Its fantastic gameplay

cwazzy visuals
Honestly, this is the last truly great Far Cry game. If you loved Far Cry 3, this one's a must-play. Sure, it feels like a copy-paste of its predecessor—but the fresh innovations keep it from feeling stale. And visually? Absolutely stunning

very good story and controls
This is a case where I wish I could give a "meh" review somewhere between thumbs up and thumbs down, because recommending a Ubisoft game past 2010 is like recommending eating from the gigantic garbage bag full of surplus popcorn your friend who works at the movie theater brought with them to the stoner party. Sure it tastes good, but can you really justify eating more than a few handfuls? Far Cry 4 looks good, the shooting feels good, the animations and mocap of the enemies running and stumbling about is good, it's just... the whole thing feels so pointless. It's basically a reskin of Far Cry 3 but with the mildly compelling characters and narrative stripped out. It's really shocking just how little effort this game puts into justifying anything going on, absolutely sauceless. Nevertheless I'm still going to 100% because it works well enough to occupy my visual cortex while I'm listening to a podcast or whatever.
