You owe us money, Joe, and we plan to collect. We don't care where it comes from, but you'd better not skip town on us. Otherwise your family will be searching the river for your body.

About
Family Man is a dark, story-led RPG that asks the question: When pushed to the limits of your own morality, how far would you go for the sake of your family?

You owe money to the mob, and you've got three weeks to pay it back. Will you flip burgers and earn an honest living while scraping the money together... or will you take on some dirty jobs for more cash, but potentially push your family away?
Every decision you make affects everyone around you. The neighborhood will blossom or perish under the weight of your decisions, while the path you choose may lead to your household becoming stronger than ever... or the breakdown of your marriage and relationship with your child.

Explore Riverport, and decide how you want to deal with each situation that arises
Earn cash the hard (legal) way, or break a few rules here or there
Every choice you make affects the neighborhood and your family
Dozens of missions to complete and stories to resolve
Unlock unique perks that suit your gameplay style
Multiple different endings based on the decisions you made

buggy mess
I was a paragon of virtue. Always read bedtime stories to my kid. Did chores around the house. Earned money through foraging and flipping burgers, all hours of the day. Avoided criminal activity, and kept my family safe, fed, and happy. However, I also donated a lot of apples to the food bank. Despite being purely positive foods (no happiness change, bonus to hunger and health), they give negative karma. And somehow, I donated enough apples to charity to balance out the karmic good of being a hardworking, ethical provider, father, and spouse. So the devil killed my kid. 0/10, good attempt by a small indie team but very unsatisfying (and collectibles, really? in this day and age?)
game is buggy, you get stuck in places and cant leave so very unfortunate, also the max karma achievement seems impossible.
Who amongst us hasn't been fired from our job for trying to hack the company's servers and tries to make ends meet to support their family? The game itself is...alright. Wouldn't really recommend it though.

08.02.2025 3:43PM I just bought this game yesterday on sale for £1.49 I was suprised how the game story unfolds I enjoyed being a provider for my family whilst also doing ood criminal jobs on the side unfortunatley my family in game was unhappy and left me besides that I really did feel the preassure from the masked criminals and the mob debts
Imagine this game was called family guy
