Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A Gameboy Color-styled RPG for sickos, which allows you to multi-multi-multiclass. Now I'll never be satisfied with other RPGs that merely multi-multiclass. Story is a bit basic, though some characters are kind of interesting, but it's really the combat and the dungeon crawling that make this one special.
It is quite rare for me to give up on a game before finishing. Regrettably, False Skies drags on too long and has some very rough difficulty spikes at different points in the game. It is only possible to attempt to escape a battle after every enemy has attacked you that round. Some enemies hit for 50% of my HP per attack. Enemies grow stronger faster than I do. Some enemies counterattack *everything* and thus they get multiple attacks per round doing entirely too much damage. Once I took 70% of my HP from one round of being poisoned. Its just too much tedium and the story isn’t rich enough to justify it.

If I could get this game injected straight into my veins, I would. I want 10 of these wonderful games, truly my favorite style of jrpg that exists. Super excited to see more of Feenicks and what they do!
Bought amongst many other games during one of the big sales, when actually getting round to playing it was surprised how deeply it got a hold of my attention (as can be seen from my play time). Is pretty retro as an rpg as it looks, but the the class system involved with creating your characters turns out to be rather interesting. The retro-inspired graphics are pretty good too. Honestly you don't even need to wait for a sale when comes to picking this one up, has a very modest pricetag which it is more than worth.
I've been a big fan of indie games since I was a teenager, though actual good ones made with some more notable engines of the era (ZZT, MZX, OHRRPGCE, and the like) are few and far between. This game, being made in OHRRPGCE is a masterclass in seeing the limits of the engine as far too much power and limiting color palettes and music/sound further in the best possible ways. Not only are the self-imposed limitations endearing, but this game is LONG. Not bloat, just a very, very long story. You ever have those games as a kid you wish would just keep going on and you weren't quite ready for the ending yet? THIS is the answer to those cries. Also the game is a blast, the price is a heavy undercut for the quality of content and writing inside the whole package (even at full price) and I'd say whatever Feenicks releases next, whatever it may be, will be an immediate purchase. Definitely try the demo to see what you're in for and enjoy the purchase you'll commit to later.
Sometimes you can play games and they won't even be good, EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR THEM. Sometimes you can even pay LOTS of money for games and EVEN THEN they won't be good. This game? Not even lots of money, and a good game. A beacon of light in hard times.
This is the first review I've left in a while, but I felt I had to looking at how little reviews this game has. This is the best jrpg-style game I've played in a long time. Characters do not overstay their welcome. Wandering the world in the beginning has a feeling of loneliness but as you make it to more and more places you see how full it is. Music is outstanding, the class system is really cool, combat is just the right amount of engaging (shout out to sdmax300 on gamefaqs).
Obviously the concept behind this game is from the early days of RPG, however this is based on 30+ years ago and fails for games created these days. No clear progression or one button map access are hugh breakers these days.
Just got the game, already sunk 6 hours into it (with many more to come) and I'm having grand ol' time! Even though so far it's a lot of fetch-quests and the premise of the game isn't affecting the party (yet?), having a combat this quick, with so many classes to mix and match, there's a lot to do and experiment with that I'm sure by the time ♥♥♥♥ goes down i'll be just fine. And just discovering what kind of world I'm walking in just satisfies me at the moment. On that note: I was first expecting a fantasy world a la classic Final fantasy but there's warps teleportation, telecommunication and radio towers, people in robes and swords, guns and robots, like... It feels different, it's not too fantasy/medieval nor too futuristic... which makes it stand out and feels refreshing. It doesn't feel grindy, maybe it's just me who prefers to take on extra fights to get my levels up, but there's enough happening between encounters that it doesn't feel grindy, imo. Just the game I was wanting: a modern take on the classic jrpg formula, with lots to do.
Played and beat the itch version, then bought the steam version because the game genuinely deserves it imo. It's very well-made, even if it has some quirks to it. I'd reccommend playing with the gamefaqs guide.
