For some reason i cant walk properly, my controller has a mobile deadzone when im trying to walk directly forward. I turn my head it changes. Glad i only paid peanuts and not the actual ripoff of as price on steam for this BS! Sort it out bethesda. I can't enjoy youre game because im stopping dead in my tracks and randomly walking backwards every time i move my head or my stick hits the exact wrong spot.
Just gotta get used to it and its very fun
only good with mods 8/10
Even after spending a few hours getting mods installed, this is still one of the most unpleasent VR games i've experienced. It's like repairing a totalled car using duck tape and gorilla glue, yeah it runs but your constantly holding the door shut and praying the wheels don't fly off. Maybe after a few hours you can get used to the jank, but I think a game that costs £49 should work out of the box.
A great VR game, hidden underneath a terrible port. Mods go someway to making it playable, and to have a full-fat Fallout game in VR is fantastic! I just wish it ran better, as my specs, whilst not bleeding-edge, are not too bad. Even on my other more modern 9070xt 16GB VRAM card (in another PC) this game is not smooth at all, even at 72fps capped. If you have a beefy system and don't mind modding it into a playable state, it's definitely worth the hassle, the game itself is addictive in that Skyrim-way we all know too well! :) Great game, poor port!
Muito bom.
massive fallout fan\nerd here. saw the bad reviews and thought man people are just picky it couldn't possibly be that bad. i was wrong, this isnt even a playable game. the fact that this is even being sold should be against some sort of consumer law. if you buy this you would save time by just putting the money directly into the toilet and flushing.
Highly recommend! I bought the game about 3 years ago after playing Half Life: Alyx and the controls were so different and nonintuitive that I quit and didn't play it again until the TV series based on the game was in its second season. After watching the show, I decided to stick to it and learn the controls, and boy, was it worth it! I absolutely love the game now. Due to its age, it has its quirks and warts, but it is infinitely playable and replayable. I like to play for a half hour before bedtime. It's the best four hours of my day!
