We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
About
Be the hero in your own cinematic epic of action, tension and terror. A mysterious paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, taking hostages but issuing no demands. The government responds by sending in a Special Forces team only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre shows an inexplicable wave of destruction tearing the soldiers apart. With no other recourse, the elite F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) team is assembled to deal with the extraordinary circumstances. They are given one simple mission: Evaluate the threat and eliminate the intruders at any cost.
Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended – with a bang. As the helicopter which the F.E.A.R. team is on attempts to leave the vicinity, it instead winds up crashing. The F.E.A.R. team is thus forced to seek out an alternate extraction point, all the way battling the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city.
As the first F.E.A.R. team and Delta Force fight for control of the situation, a second F.E.A.R. team is sent in to shed some light on Armacham Technology Corporation's (ATC) dark past. As a member of a secondary F.E.A.R. team, you are brought in to discover more information regarding the secret project at the ATC facilities. The multiplayer component for this expansion is no longer available.

FEAR keeps the action fun by sporting enemy AI better than in most modern titles, ahead of it's time it was.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Pretty janky and took some tinkering to get running well, but beside that this game has aged like the finest of wines. I absolutely agree with the consensus that the enemy AI present here is masterfully strong and timeless; the way they coordinate is unparalleled and elevates the combat, forcing the player to fully utilise this game's mechanics. Reflex mode is fantastic and the sound design generally is great; although, they should have toned down the particles that kick up in Reflex Mode because once you and the enemy start raining bullets on one another, all the sparks, dust, and debris linger and get in the way, which can be pretty annoying. The story is fine. I mean, there really isn't any beyond chasing down Paxton Fettel, but there is solid world-building in Project Origin, Alma, and Armacham. Likewise, the characters are largely bland but functional. If you like horror games, or story-driven FPS games, this is a must play. This game truly is a classic and holds up so well. F.E.A.R is a god amongst FPS. One of the best I've played in recent memory and it's 20 years old! Highly recommended. Played it once already on PS3 and then began a second playthrough on PC. I did need a community fix (EchoPatch) to ensure stability on a modern system but that was easy to install and the game ran flawlessly without a single issue. Please, do yourself a favour and play F.E.A.R!
It is awesome in every sense, despite it being a 2005 game it is really enjoyable, it needs ecopatch for modern hardware, but definetly a masterpiece 10/10
one of the best fps all time
classic but no cloud service. Hard but fun to find paths.
One of the best shooters I've played. The action and gunplay is the best.
