Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is Epic !
Allow me to start off this review with a disclaimer. Steam as a platform, as great as it is, doesn't have a how do I say "Indifferent" rating. I can either rate this game up, or I can rate this game down, I can't rate this game neutral. with this out of the way onto the review it's self. Evil Genius 2 is a long awaited sequel for the original Evil Genius title that is still funny enough being sold on steam if I'm not mistaken. with the original game being 10 USD and I'd say with the price. with that in mind, how does evil genius 2 hold up to it's original, I'd say it's a mixed bag. on one hand, your staff and enemy forces have seen a drastic increase in variety and all of them have atleast a little more common sense. and the methods with which to construct your evil island fortress have seen an overhaul too... some changes for the best, some for the worse. on one hand, your lair can now have several floors, no longer do you have to dismantle rooms or wait until the second island in order to expand your operations. likewise, the Casino and it's rooms are easier to build and expand, taking up some space on one of your lair's floors. on the other hand, outdoor objects no longer exist as it's been made irrelevant. too some this can be a pro, no longer do you have to eyeball agents on the otherside of the island to make sure they're still wasting time idle and not investigating. on the other hand, due to this, all agents can and will enter your lair either through one or more back entrances, or through the Casino. which... on one hand, does certainly help with the keeping tabs on them thing, but on the other hand, means if you build any suspicious items too close to those rear entrances, all but ensures a heat spike in a few regions, which can get pretty annoying. Now let's talk core gameplay, the building is fun, the Minions, henchmen and enemy forces all interact in unique and fun, if sometimes a bit unfair ways... but unfortunately Evil Genius two suffers from Tedium more then it's original. rushing the story down whilst possible will still take someone several hours if they manage to play in an ideal manner, too the point even I haven't exactly *Beat* the game. or atleast I haven't beaten it because every time I want to play I play base building simulator 2021 rob several banks on the world stage to further build up my treasury, have a super agent invite themselves in, fight them off, get my minions back up to capacity, and then just, save quit to return at a later date... suffice to say whilst the core mechanics have potential, the game could really use less tedium, and said tedium can be made even worse depending on what DLC(s) you own, and if you're reading objective descriptions, as you may want to progress the main story, and instead decide to steal a segment of Aperture science's test track's. which, on one hand, cool, but on the other hand, does nothing really meaningful to progress the main plotline. I know this review thus far has leaned more on the negative side then the positive but in spite of such, I must say I do recommend this game... *When it's on sale for 25 - 50% off or greater* it's not worth the 40 USD for the base game or 60 USD for the base game and season's pass. if Rebellion could shave like 10 USD off both, then I'd say the game is worth it if you're an AuDHD mother fecker like me, simply because we can entertain ourselves for atleast an hour or two on base building alone.
ICH SIEL ES ALSO ZOCK ES
Definitely Worth the money

Love the game but feels like its missing something. Also feels a bit disjointing with the gameplay on the map. Grab this game when its on sale.
