Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Silly, stupid, and brilliant at turns. An extension of "Evil Genius", if you liked that you will love this. There's just more of it. More minion types, more traps, more research, more enemies. Towards the end of the campaigns, it can feel a bit grind-ey. But generally is a good game, if nothing else the different traps are funny, like James Bond bad guys crossed with Wile-e-coyote. Shark tanks, laser walls, even an exploding robot puppy. "Yap yap yap BOOOM".
I don't get any minions so I cant do anything. Waste of money. 1-star

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Tedious: defined. I really want to like this game. I really liked Evil Genius 1, and admittedly its been a long time since i played it, but the main gameplay loop of #2 just doesn't feel rewarding. All the missions are very linear and slow. The global stage/globe view is a joke: it could just as easily be a text menu with checkboxes. But sometimes the checkboxes are disabled, just to make the game feel longer. The lair mechanisms are nice, and i like the creativity of the base building, but it doesn't make up for the tedious mission mechanism. For example, when getting new minion types there is no reason you shouldn't be able to do them in parallel, but instead the game forces you to: 1) make sure there isn't heat in a specific region and/or clear it, 2) kidnap someone from the globe by sending your own minions and waiting minutes, 3) waiting minutes for the kidnapped minion to get to your lair 4) wait for you to interrogate them, 5) wait while a minion builds a new training appliance, 6) wait while a new minion of this type gets trained, 7) repeat for the next minion type. This is the general loop for every mission, and it quickly gets boring and repetitive. Fun concept, made tedious.
Its a excellent lair-builder, but it can get old very quickly with the busywork it requires you to do.
I know this will read as contradictory because I have over 150 hours here, but this is really not a very good game. The focus on operating on the 'world map' draws your attention away from the base, and nothing very meaningful happens in either sphere - this game is a series of waiting for resources to refresh, and once you're a few hours in it stops feeling like a lair builder and starts playing more like a phone game - activate a mission that sends troops to do something (no gameplay there, just click yes), wait until it finishes, then do it again. There's an overabundance of resources and space, but nothing interesting to fill it, and the pathing does not encourage sprawling bases. It just seems to miss every target it aims for. I don't regret obsessively hunting down all the achievements but this game is just below-average enough that I wouldn't recommend it.
Sehr gut
I've played this game for about 200 hours on playstation aswell as my time on steam and i cannot recommend this game enough it is my favourite game of all time. I love the humour and the graphics are great and very well optimised. The gameplay can be sluggish at times and the game is not perfect however its just got a certain amount of charm that i haven't found in any other game. Overall i would highly recommend this game especially when on sale to anyone who wants a semi-layed back game thats just fun
Great game, but with 0 updates it gets boring after you beat the game for the first time.
Love this game!
