This is purely an 'escape the room' game with 6 chapters and 3 alternate endings (each with its own set of puzzles). The backstory is told through on-screen text. Most of the puzzles are reasonable but a pencil and paper are definitely required. Some clues change each time you restart a chapter, while some remain the same. Much of the game is trial and error, figuring out the order of things to avoid getting killed. Each time you are killed, the chapter restarts and there is no save system. In the later chapters, there are some puzzles that require 20+ clicks in a specific order. I got killed multiple times in these chapters so I had to repeat these puzzles and was glad that I had recorded each click sequence on paper. I played through the first ending without too much trouble. I started the second and third endings. The clues for the second ending did not make sense to me so I jumped to the third ending and found it just as obtuse. I meant to reset Chapter 6 and accidentally reset the entire game (sigh...an 'are you sure' alert might have been nice). I replayed from the beginning and have remained stuck trying to solve the puzzles for the second and third endings for several hours. This is complicated by the fact that multi-click puzzles have to be repeated every time you die and the clues for the third ending change every time you restart. For those who like puzzles (discovering codes with some mechanical puzzles thrown in) and are fans of the escape scenario, this is a game I would recommend. It does take a LOT of patience and perseverance but is a worthy addition to the genre.

A really good puzzle game where you die a lot.
Puzzles
You'll need a pen and paper to play this game, to take notes and solve the puzzles. The chapters are rather short, but you'll spend most of the time in the game trying to figure out the puzzles. They are hard, but rewarding. They rely on trial and errors, good observation (most of the solutions or hints to the solutions are hidden in the game environment), and out of the box thinking. Chapter 6 also offer different paths with 3 different sets of puzzles leading to 3 different endings. So I recommend doing all of them.
Dying
The least we can say is that it is extremely easy to die in this game, and the great variety in the ways you can die is really laughable. You will die from radiation exposure or asphyxia, be fried, burned, shot, poisoned, electrocuted... It might have been a choice of the dev to force the player to really think before taking any action. In many puzzles, if you fail to enter the right combination, you die. If you choose to take some path without the correct protective gear, you die. If you choose to touch something you shouldn't have, you die...
English translation
Purists of the English language might be a bit offended by the not so accurate translation to English. Sometimes the translation is kind of funny, sometimes the meaning is really lost in translation... If you can look pass the fact that you will experience many kind of deaths, the not so good English translation, and won't mind old-looking graphics, I definitely recommend this game to you if you love puzzles, because the puzzles are really fun to solve! And you might even learn some Russian along the way! (In fact I did learn how to read some Cyrillic...)
Hra je velice těžká, pokud uděláte cokoliv jinak než hra chce zemřete, někdy zemřete i když uděláte to co hra chce. Kdyby hra byla opravdu Point and click a ne Click and die byla by skvělá. Za mě nedoporučuji.
You, a sort-of-scientist man, are in the middle of the Chernobyl disaster. Radiation, explosions, mutants, military men, and computers are wreaking havoc. Can you survive at the center of this disaster? Probably not. But after you keep not surviving, eventually you will. The Good:

Adventure game with escape room elements.
I’m biased here, but I enjoy adventure games that have a dark or horror element. This one does.
You have to actually use your brain. When you get to the final chapter, you have to be like Batman.
The puzzles are challenging. I wish HOGs were this tricky.
I had a constant feeling of unease while playing this, but in a good way. I felt like something was waiting behind me every time I went through a door. Was that the game or me running out of meds? I don’t know.
The Neutral:

The game’s visuals look like photographs of real locations/objects that were sort of drawn over.
It’s an adventure game where you will die—a lot. And when you do die, you have to start over.
There are 6 chapters you can play and there is a level select.
The Bad:

There is only one musical track that plays, so you better get used to it.
These guys could use a better translator. You can look at the description on the store page and see that.
Some notifications are the opposite of what they should be (on instead of off).
Dialogue has a text-to-speech quality to it.
Pro Tips:

You’re going to want to take notes while you play, especially in the last chapter.
If you have issues interacting with something, back out and return to it.
Sometimes you will die from not being fast enough. Have fun in the sewers. “Tick tock, Batman.”
This game is bizarre in a number of ways: the way it looks, the way it plays, the way it sounds. If you read the dialogue out loud, your family would think you’re having a stroke. There’s a letter in the final chapter that they didn’t even bother translating. Yet I enjoyed it and got 100%. $4 for 5 hours of playtime, maybe fewer if you’re a big brain.
