Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Clunky controls make the fights and thus the whole game just annoying.
What Amazing Level Design ! I mean if youre into cool overland zones, you gotta see this. The game curve is VERY high, so be prepared for a more than usual difficult game. But, I gotta say, I hope this level designer gets into making the next MMO, because I mean truly unique, awesome zones, areas...! Very Good Graphics BD
Janky. Slow. Tedious. Prepare for that. Amazing character progression. Fun lore. Choice and consequence is actually conflicting. Hard to ever feel like you did the right thing. If you like a slow well earned sense of character progression then its a great game. the game is probably objectively mediocre, but subjectively it's fantastic! I'm gonna play all of their games now...

A brilliant, handcrafted open world vertically designed around a jetpack, hidden behind some of the stiffest, most punishing combat animations in the genre.
Who Is This For?
Fans of Gothic/Risen who enjoy starting as a weakling and earning godhood through suffering. Unlike other open worlds where mountains are barriers, here they are opportunities; every rooftop, pylon, and cliff face in Magalan has been hand-placed with loot or lore. The verticality fundamentally changes how you traverse the map, allowing you to bypass high-level threats or find secrets that procedural generation could never replicate. The progression system is equally stark, adhering to the developer's "Gothic" roots where you begin the game weaker than the local wildlife. Power is not handed to you via level scaling; it is forcibly taken by aligning with one of three diametrically opposed factions—Berserkers (Magic), Clerics (Tech), or Outlaws (Stim-drugs). The satisfaction of finally returning to the starting area to one-shot the raptors that terrorized you for ten hours is a specific dopamine hit that few modern RPGs provide. However, the "entrance fee" to this experience is a combat system that feels actively hostile to the player. Melee swings are plagued by long, uncancellable animations and phantom hitboxes that result in cheap deaths, while the stamina bar is so restrictive in the early game that you are often forced to cheese the AI rather than fight it. The writing oscillates between intriguing sci-fi politics and "amateur theater" cringe, requiring a high tolerance for jank. At $30, ELEX asks for too much patience for too little polish. But at $7.50, it is a fascinating, ambitious mess that offers a depth of role-playing that AAA studios have largely abandoned. If you can survive the first ten hours of misery, you will likely fall in love with it.
I Love this game, I played it 3 times and never boring, always something to do.
The game is basically one massive stat check. For the first 20 hours or so, you essentially can't kill anything more powerful than a rat (2 xp btw) in a timely manner without spamming grenades. Until you're very high level or break the game to craft potions for infinite stats in order to use high end weapons (seriously, you'd be like level 50 before having high enough stats to use decent weapons without potion abuse) every single combat is just a "do I have enough grenades to finish this" and if you run out of grenades, reload -> rest to buy more grenades -> repeat. I really wanted to like this game because I am a huge fallout 4 / skyrim enjoyer, but jesus christ this makes skyrim combat feel polished by comparison. Since I was getting very impatient grinding out enough money / levels to use weapons that do actual damage, I decided to cheat myself to the stat requirements for some of the weapons that I had picked up but been unable to use for 15+ hours. All the sudden I four shot an enemy that took 40 grenades to kill. TLDR: Balance? What even is that. The story / voice acting don't sell it very well either. Pretty much every single quest is wooden voice acting telling you to go fetch/deliver some widget or kill some dude. Very copy and paste.
Absolute poorest melee combat design I've ever seen in a game.
