Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Let me tell you about an amazing yet janky RPG. It has a big world crammed with interesting locales, quests, and treasures. There are many intricate RPG systems and factions you can join that provide special skills and equipment. You can generally progress your character according to the combat style you prefer. And yet ... so much jank. Traversal is awkward and the environment and camera angles constantly get in the way. Many quests are buggy or so fragile that it's easy to miss out on content without a walkthrough. The UI is an exercise in frustration as your inventory grows and you spend far too much time scrolling through lists. And you're going to die a lot in the early game. Prepare to constantly reload. There are furthermore many problems with balance: in the economy, skills, and combat. The modding community has come in to fix a lot of this jank, but there are still fundamental issues players just have to live with. Nevertheless, if one persists with patience one is rewarded with a rich and exciting experience. By the way, I'm talking about Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Released in 2006, it would become one of the most beloved games of all time. In my opinion, the description fits Elex, too. I strongly recommend it. In some ways it's even better than Skyrim, though it also has its own set of problems, some quite serious. Its crime, however, was that it was released in 2017, a full 11 years after Skyrim. By that time gamers had come to expect less jank and so reviews were tepid. Playing Elex in 2026 with more nuanced expectations feels like digging up a lost gem. It's a superb RPG and it's a pity that it didn't get broader recognition. To be clear, my comparison with Skyrim is about quality, not content. Elex is not a fantasy game. Its world is more like those of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Last of Us, and Mad Max. It's post-apocalyptic, hurting, desperate, and angry. Very angry. It's a smaller game, too, perhaps half the size of Skyrim, though it still feels big. More to the point, it's much harder. It's not quite an Elden Ring but enemies are fast and aggressive while your attacks are slow and methodical. You're going to have to get quite attentive and creative with combat, which can be very rewarding, but if that sounds intimidating then maybe Elex is not for you. And you're going to feel weak for most of the game. In Skyrim progress is incremental and noticeable but in Elex it takes a very long time to make the next leap in abilities. However, when you earn that bonus it's very satisfying indeed. Just don't expect to become god-like. Where Elex truly shines is in its world-building and story. We've seen these themes before, but here they are put together in original and fresh ways. The environment itself is the primary narrator and it's wonderfully immersive to sift through the remains of a destroyed world. There are evocative documents and recordings, too. Alas, this leads us to the worst part of Elex: the dialog. While the documents are fine, the dialog will make you cringe. The voice acting is quite bad, too. Depending on your tolerance, the godawful script might spoil the solid story it conveys. If there's one strong reason for a negative review of Elex, this is it. Another common complaint is that the quests are very finnicky, even more so than in Skyrim. Without consulting a walkthrough it's very easy to screw things up. In Elex's defense, its world is very morally ambiguous so that it's often hard to decide which outcome is actually "good". Sometimes all possible decisions lead to bad results. Still, the consequences of your dialog choices are so opaque that it ends up feeling like you have no control at all. So, while it might be an intentional design choice, it's a frustrating one. For me, the game's essential core was so good that it was worth dealing with these problems. Well, I did get some help from the "Elex Ultimate Overhaul" mod, which fixes many bugs and gives you a much better UI. The bottom line is that if you've enjoyed the great RPGs of old then you should venture into Elex, too. What a journey!
First let's make one thing clear: THIS IS THE WORST GAME THAT WAS EVER MADE. Why you may ask? So let's start with best metaphore I found this game inside the game. I have only one screenshot of this game public. As you can see or can imagine it is a bridge. At least looks like one but when you look closer it doesn't make much sense. I it is a concrete block with no railings or details. This is exactly representation of this game. Sure it looks like a game but it is in reality an utter mess with no soul or care for anything. Every single system is just f***ed. EXP? Let's just not give it to the player in any resonable amount. Enemies? All of them can shoot because we added broken ass jetpack. Missions? Half are broken other half placed in places you are too low level to access. Weapons? They don't deal dmg bc ♥♥♥♥ you. So even tho there can be funny moments they are overshadowed by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ present at every step that you will step into and drag it on your shoes to the end of the game. Yes I have beaten this nonsense at 3rd try but NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND TO THE WORST ENEMY. And it's not first game of this studio. DON'T ever buy it.
