Reviews
you can ignore the review bombers alot of them didn't even buy the game much less beat it an are mad cause its not the 100 floor dungeon climb they want it to be or their "soul-like" but in anime style. so let me begin this with saying i completely understand where the developers where going with this game making it a unique an contained story narrative where you the player are the main protagonist instead of you just being a kirito stand in like is the case with other Sword Art Online game titles. and i can tell that they made this game with fans of the series in mind for which i greatly appreciate that as well as the fact they stayed as close to the source material as they could. the visuals are amazing an the combat is fun to play the music scores are also genuinely captivating an the world itself is massive in scale. there are some few cons however that i must point out for this review to be a completely fair and honest one lets start with Exploration as i said above its a massive world an the visuals are incredible but regrettibly its way too strictly contained an thats never a good thing to have for rpg titles the world should feel alive and immersive but they lock you to a set of instances which just isn't a good feeling when you're trying to explore an find all the hidden secrets an treasures out on the field or to find. i hope they correct this in a future patch or update an allow for players to have a "free explore" mode from the main mission hub so that way players can truly feel like this is a game worth immersing their time an energy into. next i want to talk about Character Customization i feel like this is a good start of something but it does feel way too limited in what you can make similiarly i felt this way about costume/armor designs they're just isn't really a whole lot of variety to inspire a player to want to look good or appealing when you compare to the designs of certain npc characters who have this unique or cool designs which is such a blow to us being the stories main protagonist here we're supposed to be the one that stands out but we end up looking no different from the standard npc so devs please look into this an try to add more designs an more fashion to really liven the experience up we need more face options, more hairstyles as well. moving on the story i felt was okay but there were some weak points within that made feel like it was rushed instead of giving us the time to process everything without getting into any spoilers some scenes felt like they should've carried more impact an weight then they did but they fell completely flat when we're told in the next quest we're just moving on ahead without any hesitations or conflictions going forward if other floors are planned the writers need to be aware of this an they need to give characters more time to develop doesn't matter if it has to be done thru a mandatory sidequest or just two unique missions before the main one resumes just please don't rush things along let it simmer an let us the audience think on it because otherwise people will just skip to the end without any context or dialogue for when a party member suddenly disappeared or when they find themselves locked up in a dungeon or gaol alone etc with no context or clue as to why these things happened or why they should even care etc. and for my final point is weapon types and upgrading skills i am glad there is some variety but i feel like there still could've been more the source material highlights that we are not just limited too strictly swords and knives but also that players can use spears an even use monsters as well as augment elemental effects on to their weapons to further increase their effectiveness not to mention the fact some can dual wield by meeting the requirements too i feel like the developers missed the opportunity to fully implement such a system as to allow for us to earn skills an augments an i hope that they look at reviews such as this one to get an idea of what we as consumers an gamers would like to see implemented an on the subject of weapons i hope more types are added my wishlist would be for some eastern inspired weapons like katanas. wakizashi, tanto, naginata etc some polearms or staffs, maybe some brass knuckle like weapons so we can punch an or kick enemies an some wacky an fun weapons would be amazing too maybe a frying pan? a broomstick? a baseball bat? an umbrella? candy cane etc and my closing statement: this is a good decent game an if you already like Sword Art Online you will most likely appreciate this title very much and do not worry i know the asking price is a bit much if you want to wait until a holiday or seasonal sale goes on from bandai thats perfectly fine i am very much waiting for the expansion of the story to come so i can experience whats new an what has changed when i come back to the World of Aincrad ^_^

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 1: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

5/10 just cuz i love SAO. Where is open world and free exploration? everthing you do in this game is quest after quest, no free will beside weapon choosing. cities has only wandering pointless npc. Devs realy dont use potencial of SAO universe
nice game I love SAO <3
I don't write reviews. I've played a good majority of these games. Made alt foreign accounts to play the psp and ps vita ones before they came state side. I enjoy this. There is a lot of dead air sometimes, empty space. But I recall playing Hollow Fragment on the ps vita. It's sorta like an 3d active combat version of that. The Silica companion side quest was fun. My thoughts all over the place. Sorry. Not really a die hard SAO fan anymore, but this game has been fun. It does kinda have an MMO vibe where you gotta do some grinding and areas are vast and open. I think sometimes people forget how games used to be and they just expect the cutting edge constantly. At the end of the day, if this seems interesting, at least try the demo. The main game is basically more of the same, but the story has been pretty decent. And I enjoy the grind. Can listen to youtube or chat with friends and just bonk some boars. My only.... complaint? and not sure how to mark spoilers but... SPOILER (kinda) Why isn't Sachi's name on the Monument of Life? She's such a memorable character in the Aincrad arc, and yet she doesn't pop-up if you search her name. A sad oversight. Maybe patch that in. I'm sure I'm not the only one who looked her up. But yeh, fun game. If you don't mind a grind and remember how the older games played or even how some MMOs are played nowadays, it kinda hits a good cord. If you're expecting cutting edge gameplay, souls like or full action combat ect ect then it might not be the best idea.
Vamos lá... que jogo complicado, eu diria. A história é legal.
Man kämpft permanent gegen dieselben faden Monster. (2/10)
The game is really fun to play
the game is absolutely phenomenal. the people hating on it are mostly jumping on the bandwagon. "only has two floors" two floors is better than 100 soulless floors. i loved hollow fragment but the floors were just reskins more oft than not. and that was only 24. "doesnt have XX weapon" there is variants within weapon classes covering them, ie greataxe has a scythe. or people complaining "death game modes locked behind paying or clearing" yea, most games lock hard modes behind first time clear. like diablo. or even, EVERY OTHER SAO GAME. one of the only semi valid complaints is open world, and even then the zones as you progress through quests just get larger and larger, and like other aspects, most all sao games ALSO had zoning. now granted this ones borders can make it a little...awkward. so that is a problem. id say the games a solid 7.5/10
