Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 7 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

77 hours of gameplay at the time of writing this review and still a lot to do and explore! I love DYSMANTLE. It's a labor of love.

Great game sorry they stopped progressing it. Worth buying.
I would say it's a solid game. The first hour or so felt awkward but once you get past it the game starts to open up and provides lots of challenges, upgrades and items to find, areas to explore and a story to follow. I finished the main story in about 38 hours and going through missed/optional content now and soon the DLCs! Some aspects of the game do have problems in my opinion: - The item pickup system is tedious. -
Tombs
feel underwhelming, rarely did they feel like a challenge. - The game can be very grindy. You need a lot of resources. There's also a shared splitscreen co-op mode but in my opinion it's not that great. I gave it a try with someone but you can tell the game was made for singleplayer. Don't buy the game for co-op. But the overall experience has been great. Definitely recommend getting the game if it looks interesting!
Randomizing and clearing my backlog - 36/343 At first this game felt great, I was looting everything. Then it got redundant and I got tired of looting everything for the same items over and over. I get why people like the game but there’s dozens of Zombie survival games that scratch the itch better for me.
Breaking objects is addictive. Get better tool, improve it and break even more stuff. And then I got a sledgehammer, I love my sledgehammer.
Dysmantle is one of those survival crafting games where you break things down into resources to craft tools to break more things. It's imperfect with pacing faltering later on but it delivers a fun experience for a good while. There's a lot of activities to do in this game, like base building, fishing and such, but primary drive of progress and discovery will be whacking random items until they pop into resources. You'll do that a lot here. Also, fighting with enemy zombies is near-constant distraction, too, although you have means to -prevent them from respawning after you take them out once. Everything else is kinda supplemental to this activity, which leaves out some aspects of game like base building under-developed, so keep that in mind. Another big element is exploration, you actually get to check out pretty varied regions as you push trough game, and there will be distinct challenges to specific areas, as soon as game picks up pace there will be distinct novelties, like automated turrets, environmental temperatures or really annoying plant monsters. You'll also get rewarded new things for progressing, like gear or structures. Overall major issue with this game is that it can indeed be grindy and sometimes obtuse with where you should be progressing next, but overall it's a fine smashfest where you clean out entire forests and cities to build a handful incremental upgrades, which may not sound like it but actually is fun.
