The Absolute Evil and its trusted *cough* servant, the Dark Elf Thalya, return in Dungeons 4 after the events of its fabulous predecessor to bring about their triumph over the forces of good once more.

We played the entire campaign in co-op. What I liked: - Reliable way to turn off your brain in the evening. We bought all DLCs in the end - 2 player co-op works quite well, one player can play overworld, the other one take care of the base - Good mix between building and fighting - Technical issues were rare Still, if you're looking for something with a little more depth to it, you might end up disappointed: - Focus was on the jokes, not the story - we were not too interested in the jokes - RTS mechanics and control do not really feel "snappy" - Once you've figured out a strategy that works, you can just repeat it for the entirety of the campaign - Missions are not really that different at their core Would recommend it to those that like to hang out with their friends online while playing :)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you've played the Dungeons series before, this will feel very familiar: dig for resources, build rooms and traps, slaughter heroes, and endure the cringy narration. It's an OK game - nothing groundbreaking, but I had fun with it. Achievement-hunting can make runs feel tense, since some goals force you to play on a tighter timer and avoid taking any hits. Outside of that, the game is pretty chill: design your perfect dungeon, sit back, and watch it work… until the level ends once you've finished your setup. Overall, a comfortable dungeon-builder that won't surprise you but will satisfy fans of the genre.
Like most Kalypso games, I feel it's a bit shallow, they do the bare minimum and nothing more. Dungeons 4 soothes the scratch somewhat but is a bit meh. It is decent for quite a lot of hours but the biggest issue is probibly no random map generator.
Great game. Love this style since the first DK. Only thing that I would say negative about it is, that it doesn't have random dungeon feature. Other then that, great game.
I have no idea why they though adding a ton more uninteresting micro compared to Dungeons 3 was a good idea. Now, if you want to play the game in a somewhat good way, you have to spam the "Create Ressource" spell every 10 seconds, and that spells also create mana, and more mana than spent by using the spell, so you gotta spam it on cooldown lmao Same for magic boxes, the uptier of normal boxes. Now instead of beeing a ressource that you use to upgrade your buildings to better version, they are an external battery that you have to MANUALY pick up and place onto a work station to TEMPORALY boost it. Aka, spam it on cooldown, again. You could very well say "It's a solo game. If it's tedious, just don't do it" And to that I would answer, Yes sure, I can ignore 1 spell, however if I do not actively use the magic boxes they are useless. And also, you can do whatever you want, that's fine, but when you start loosing, it won't be because of poor decision or because you weren't good enought, it would be because you didn't spam "Create Ressource" and the magic boxes on CD. The existence of thoses two tedious, yet powerfull mechanics make it so you are playing to your detriment if you do not use them, and everytime something might not work, it would be because you didn't use them enought. Yes, Dungeons 3 also had a spell to temporarily boost the efficiency of a room, but it boosted the efficiency of the room, not just straight up pop ressources into existence, and it could last 2 minutes at full cast, not 10 seconds. So you would use it from time to time but it's not something that would weight on your mind at every single moment. I truely do not understand why they did thoses changes. They could have just added some more mechanics and building without changing much of what already existed, but instead they chose to make the game super micro intensive. A choice I simply can't understand in a solo game.
A great installment to a game I have enjoyed since you had to purchase them on CD! Highly recommended!
このシリーズはそういうもんなんだと言われるとぐうの音も出ませんが、自由度が少ないので中盤くらいで飽きます
