Good
--BUY GAME-- This looks interesting...let us ponder how best to proceed. --PLAY GAME-- Magick...or aught similar hangs thick in the air. --PLAY MORE GAME-- I grant you fire's blaze! --FINAL THOUGHTS-- 'Tis work well worth doing! --AFTERWORD-- They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong!
Personally I would recommend people to play the original DDDA. the main issues I have mainly focus on what was left out from the original. Is the sequel bigger?, Yes. Is it better scripted? yes. Does it feature more enemy variety? kinda, but yes there are some new creatures. However! having added these expected features, many of the player freedom has been limited, significantly stunting gameplay diversity and player agency. Sorcerers and mages cant really aim their spells anymore outside of lock on, where in the original you could precisely place your spells. vocations have lost their secondary equipment, so instead of Strider which was a fast dagger and short bow class, or a Ranger with a slower but much more powerful bow, you can now pick someone that only uses a bow and kicks people on occasion. Not to mention the switch to 4 skills from the original 6 Warrior used to be my least favorite vocation for these exact reasons. the singular weapon meant that you would struggle with targets that you couldn't reach and because it was limited to ONLY 3 Skills! Modders are slowly tackling the lack of variety but this should have been in the game from the start.
nice game
This is a game well and true. "Overconfidence is an enemy in and of itself".
I have loved RPGs since I was a little kid, and this series here has to be my favorite of all time. The only bad thing I could possibly say is that the game is poorly optimized. If you're willing to fiddle with graphics settings for a bit, the game is well worth it. If you're not willing two the first game in the series is just as amazing for RPG lovers.
JOGO BOM DA DESGRAÇA, só tinham que melhorar a otimização e a variedade de inimigos, mas o jogo é tão bom, se não, melhor que o primeiro.
It's alright. Still think the first game is better, but this one's still worth the money if on sale. Fun combat. Quest design is kinda clunky and outdated (they suck)
