if you have played DD 1 and its expansion. This one is just what you wanted. I really liked it, bigger map and thrilling quests. Deep immersion, world construction and fighting mechanics. Very good game experience over all. Really liked it. Looking forward for the expansion.
The game is great. Lots of great mods. The Game has lots of potential, great moddability. And soon Dark Arisen expansion will be released.
Great game that gets a lot of hat. I'm one of the few people that likes this game more than the first game, and when the august patch releases and they give us 6 skill slots, people will most likely start to change their minds about it.
nice game
I’ve only owned this game for a few days, yet I’ve already fallen deeply in love with it. Dragon’s Dogma 2 gives players who already carry a character, or perhaps an entire legend inside their minds the freedom to bring that story into its world. You never know what awaits beyond the next hill. It might be a dragon, a forgotten ruin, or another beautiful town with its own culture and history. The game rarely tells you that there is only one correct way forward. It lets you choose how to travel, fight, explore, and survive, allowing you to shape an experience that feels uniquely your own. You can even defeat a dragon at level 10, not necessarily by your own hand, but by making clever use of the environment. The main story and its characters may not have the same depth or focus as those in some other games, but in a strange way, that is also part of what makes Dragon’s Dogma 2 so special. As mentioned earlier, if you already carry a story within yourself, then every cave, every treasure chest, and every unexpected journey becomes another page of it. At first, main Pawn may seem like nothing more than a traveling companion, someone who fights beside you, offers advice, and carries far too much of your luggage. But as time passes, after wandering together through unfamiliar lands and sitting beside a campfire in the middle of nowhere, you may begin to wonder, How many Arisen have they served during their existence? Do they remember them? And when the day comes that I am no longer their master… will they remember me too? That moment is a story. It was not written directly by the developers. There was no quest marker leading me to it, no cutscene telling me how to feel. It was created through the journey the game allowed me to experience. And that is exactly why I will remember it.
....why is the DLC $10 for new players and $30 for old players? That's a hell of an FU.
