Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Скучный бой. Скучная странная подача сюжета. Соевые персонажи и их развитие. Варианты ответа которых можно было и не давать. Пытался вникнуть, но за три вечера охладел.
As a dragon age fan this was a punch in the gut. The vibe and charm that made the former dragon age games memorable is gone. We're stuck with poor writing and depthless characters. There is little banter, and it all feels inorganic. One of the things that have bugged me the most is the romance system. With almost every character the "question" if you want to romance he/she/they comes in dialogue that has nothing with their relationship to do and sometimes out of the blue. Another thing was the fighting mechanics. I was not a fan. We have gone from three companions to two, and they do next to no damage/impact during the fights. You get three attacks + an ult during battles, and the skill tree is limited. Outside of the lore, the game does not feel like a dragon age game. I played it through to pay respect to a world I love, but I will not play this game again like I have with all the others.
My first review on Steam!! Anyway, I decided not to look at reviews as I am new to Dragon Age, but I am glad with that decision because I am enjoying the game. I love the customizability of the game. From accessibility options, controls, difficulty adjustments, lore, looks, costumes, and the dialogues, they all are pretty impressive. This game is great especially for those new to the Dragon Age series like me lol
Love this game. I've been a lifelong fan of the Dragon Age series, first being obsessed with Dragon Age Origins when it was released, and then every consecutive game in the series as well. Especially the worldbuilding, the history, and the major characters have always interested me and it's so satisfying to finally have answers to questions that were raised 15 years ago. The Veilguard is a great sequel to the story started in Inquisition, it really felt like a continuation of the events there. As somebody who always romances Solas in Inquisition, I loved that he continued to have a major role and I was very happy with the ending for him. The gameplay in the Veilguard is probably the best in the entire series. It's fun and engaging until the end of the game. Visuals, music, and voice acting were all really good as well. I had a great time experiencing Thedas again and didn't want it to end. It's a shame no more content was planned for it and how the development of the game went, but the devs clearly did the best with what they had. Absolutely would recommend this game.
I wanted to really give this game a try, but it was really unbearable to get through. These games are meant to be heavily narrative-driven, and the voice writing for it is honestly pretty awful. It feels like it's written like a Disney movie plot but made to be "for older audiences" while making conversations even less inspired than that. I'd say this is written like someone's entry-level fanfic about Dragon Age more than it feels like a sequel to Inquisition. I'd recommend playing Inquisition instead and skipping this game entirely. I could only recommend this game if you want to play for the combat and enjoy skipping cutscenes, or you're not caring at all about the story, or you would simply enjoy having, not gonna lie, a pretty good character creator. 9 out of 10 thumbs down.
10 years. They took 10 years to develop this game and it's so bad. I can't believe EA and Bioware ruined one of the best fantasy franchises we had. Buy it only if it's 80% off or more, don't waste too much money and time on this game. The characters look like they've all been written by an angry teenager. No depth at all. One has a personality based on coffee, another is just annoying each time she talks like a Valley Girl and don't get me started on Taash. And the names...Neve because she does ice magic ? Dellamorte because he's an assassin ? Come on, even a kid would do better. The characters in DAI were so well written in comparison, you could resonate with them and their story. Here, you just want to skip the cutscenes and the cringe that comes with it. Graphics-wise, it's ugly. I don't know how they messed that up as well. It looks like the game went through a Disney filter. The lore ? Forget it, the plot is filled to the brim with incoherent BS. Your choices don't matter either. I've rarely seen that level of shalowness in the dialogues of a video game. The world is collapsing, old gods return and the blight is everywhere but your character will approach each situation with the same childish reaction. The combat system might have some redeeming qualities as it feels more dynamic, especially as a mage. Being able to select your spec right at the start is also nice. Overall, DA Veilguard is an absolute mess. One more franchise ruined by EA and their twisted view of what a video game should be like.

This game is hard to recommend as a fan of the Dragon Age Franchise. The story, I feel, fundamentally disrespects the prior games. All of the Dragon Age games aside from Origins are a mixed bag in some way, but this game is so clearly a live service game stripped of its live service elements at the last minute. The world is divided into zones, each with different quests and goals. It's meant to show off some of the other countries and regions only mentioned in previous games, but the faction system built around these zones seems like a long term sort of grind, and not forced into a $50 single player game for no logical reason. The companions are uninteresting (Aside from the Necromancer), and, while voice acted well, are given such bad dialogue that it is hard to take them seriously. I struggle to think of a memorable quest, which makes me feel bad for the people who so clearly put effort into this game. The main positive element of the game is the combat system. They abandoned any sort of tactical element like the previous game, along with control of your companion characters, for an action RPG system. I quite enjoyed the way in which characters could be built and the combat flowed very well. It is unfortunate they had built this excellent combat system for a game that is so heavily compromised creatively. EA is the worst, and it seems to me that Bioware is no longer the company that they once were.
