Mass Effect 2.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I think people are overly, and sometimes unfairly, critical of this game. I certainly have my gripes and grievances with how they handled the greater DA lore, but overall I think this is a pretty great game! I also kind of wish they were able to use more in-universe terms/explanations for trans or non-binary characters. It just feels a little anachronistic, but it is such a small part of the game that it really doesn't matter. Combat is super fun, probably the best DA has ever had, with Spellblade being particularly frenetic and very satisfying to play. The companions are pretty well fleshed out, and their individual stories are all pretty good. Even the non-binary companion is fine, they are just kind of a forgettable character when placed into the line-up. In short, this is a very good game, but it has not been a good game for the DA lore and universe. It drops WAY too many huge lore reveals like it is just a normal Tuesday, and sort of labels everything else as "because of the elves". You don't get much time to chew on the last big reveal because another is right around the corner. A lot of the mystery has gone out of the universe, and I think that is one of the biggest sins of this game. Do yourself a favor, and go into this game with no expectations. I can almost guarantee you will have a good time, and find plenty in the game that you love along with the things you may dislike.
Gorgeous looking but lacking the expanse DAI/origins had while also lacking quality in every other aspect. Writing for the story and conversation is very fast-paced, abrupt, random. Example with conversations: companion is frustrated and shouting then literally the next sentence is them acting like it never happened and the topic gets changed. There's a lot of conversations starting with serious topics that end with "but friendship will get us through" after ignoring literally everything wrong. Theres *major* new lore for old characters that is supposed to involve in literally everything we know of the world but its completely ruined by literally nothing becoming of it. Their big quest is just chasing a mystery npc through a mostly empty map. What dark/serious moments this game has is completely ruined with pacing and the games own writing. Imma do my best to finish the game but was sorely disappointed in the game since the beginning.
I waited for a decade and this what we got....how to ruin a beloved franchise... At least I got closure.
Game becomes a slog, it's pretty boring. Think there were reports that this game was supposed to be a live-service game, and they ultimately decided against it near end of development.. It definitely plays like a live-service slop type of game like Suicide Squad or Marvel's Avengers (infamously failed live-service games). You can tell if they diverted from that type of play-style from the beginning they could actually have a fun single player game, but instead we get this type of game which becomes a boring, repetitive and uninspired type of game. If it is on a crazy sale, you can go ahead and try it... but you'll still feel underwhelmed for a low price because at the end of the day this isn't a good or interesting game no matter the price.
We all saw the reviews when this game first came out and all the backlash that followed. Many of us that played DAO felt betrayed by Bioware for allowing such a PoS to released. I didn't buy it back then, I only bought DA: The Veilguard recently while it was on special so this review is a 2026 update to those looking for an RPG to play. This isn't that game, this game is the worst it was crap when it released and nothing has changed since then. Once I recruited Emmerick I remembered people calling this game "Friendship simulator" and the reason for that is because all the party members are so friendly with each other and the player and it makes them all dull and have zero personality the party members in DAI were far more interesting because they had different personalities and opinions and you as the player could build a great relationship with them or destroy it. It pisses me off just how obvious it is that Varrick is dead, when the player wakes up in the Lighthouse, Scout Harding or Neve come to visit but they say nothing to Varrick who is lying on the bed next to you. No one visits Varrick, I've come back from a quest, ran in to visit Varrick and no one is there not once did I see another party member in there. So stupidly obvious and what a collossal screw up to kill off one of THE best characters from DA2 & DAI. So far I've found there is more cosmetic armor than there is actual armor, no crafting system of any sort. The merchants only sell stuff not buy, the player sells their loot to faction merchants that boost their standing and this doesn't allow you to buy new gear but upgrade current equipment for both the player and companions. The faction merchants also sell various cosmetic items for the player and the lighthouse. The way the player can level up their companions is so garbage and boring the player needs to gain approval from them and it wouldn't be so bad if the player could actually have conversations with the different party members back at the Lighthouse, delve deeper into who they are and learn more of their history, but NO! you as the player can't do that. I'm tired of the quest structure, it feels like the main quest are the short recruitment quests. Then there are other quests that allow the player to explore these areas again but certain areas are still locked off due to lack of a companion or a quest. The locations that can be explored are small and compressed. This game overall is dull, boring, repetative, the npcs are uninteresting, the factions are uninteresting. Blood magic is not available and is hated by all but Necromancy is "Okie Dokie" and people are allowed to practice necromany, The mages and the elves use this version of the fade like a kids playground, everyone is allowed to enter. Every aspect of the history, lore, nations, Grey Wardens that was built upon by DAO, DA2 and DAI has been destroyed with this 1 game. At the time of this review I honestly don't know if I can continue playing up to the points of the cringe moments with Taash I'm already eager to play something else. Don't buy this game, save your money or wait until it's on sale for $5.
I wish to unsee this game
Absolute POS
10 years. They took 10 years to develop this game and it's so bad. I can't believe EA and Bioware ruined one of the best fantasy franchises we had. Buy it only if it's 80% off or more, don't waste too much money and time on this game. The characters look like they've all been written by an angry teenager. No depth at all. One has a personality based on coffee, another is just annoying each time she talks like a Valley Girl and don't get me started on Taash. And the names...Neve because she does ice magic ? Dellamorte because he's an assassin ? Come on, even a kid would do better. The characters in DAI were so well written in comparison, you could resonate with them and their story. Here, you just want to skip the cutscenes and the cringe that comes with it. Graphics-wise, it's ugly. I don't know how they messed that up as well. It looks like the game went through a Disney filter. The lore ? Forget it, the plot is filled to the brim with incoherent BS. Your choices don't matter either. I've rarely seen that level of shalowness in the dialogues of a video game. The world is collapsing, old gods return and the blight is everywhere but your character will approach each situation with the same childish reaction. The combat system might have some redeeming qualities as it feels more dynamic, especially as a mage. Being able to select your spec right at the start is also nice. Overall, DA Veilguard is an absolute mess. One more franchise ruined by EA and their twisted view of what a video game should be like.
