As usual with EA game on steam you cannot access the DLC you get with the game. Worked through various multiple hour 'fixes' to no avail. If you want to play the standard edition then its great... if you wanted any of the DLC you paid for then be prepared to hire an IT person to fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing for you. Even then you can only scrape access to a fraction of it. Will never buy another crappy EA game via steam again!!!

Dragon Age II is one of the most underrated RPGs out there. While it gets flak for reusing maps, the character writing is top-tier and easily carries the whole experience. Here is what makes it great: The party banter is hilarious, and characters like Varric feel like genuine friends. Watching your character rise from a penniless refugee to the champion of a city over ten years is incredibly satisfying. It is way faster and more action-packed than the first game, making every fight feel impactful. The Ultimate Edition includes Legacy, which bridges the story directly into Dragon Age: Inquisition. It is flawed, but it has a massive heart. You can fix bugs, skip repetitive combat, or add HD textures easily by dragging files into your override folder (just manually install them instead of using Vortex!).
