fun solo doom game good gameplay mechanics streamlined combat system love the more grounded approach and parry system of the game overall a great prequel game for the series to help fill in the the events before doom 2016.
Didn't feel like Doom at all. Shield parry was extremely forgiving and would lead you into enemy projectiles due to it ping ponging you around to parry green projectiles. I immediately went back to Eternal. The story was much better this time around though.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bardzo dobra gra
It's quite pricey for what you are getting, but what you are getting is pretty good. Combat still feels in my opinion as fast as doom eternal but different. It now has a stronger reaction time element to it since you have to time your blocks against enemys and you are more encouraged to fight extremly offensively. In doom eternal, from what I remember, the combat loop felt more like you where a moscito on steroids. Like you go in fast and hit hard but can get killed in like 2 seconds and have to leave the fight to heal to than be able to start again. Here you are more like a tank ( who is still quite fast all things considered ) who charges in and fights from start to finish without pause really. For me this gameplay loop feels just as fast and exhilarating as doom eternal but I can see how it may not be the cup of tea for everyone. The graphics are amazing and for me the game runs pretty well but I also have a pretty nice computer. All in all I believe this to be a pretty amazing game but I am not sure if I would say it is worth for someone to spend 80 bucks on this experience ( My gilfriend baught it for me when it was on sale ) . For 60 and under I personally would consider it a steal if your pc can run it well enough.

The peak ages
First of all, fix that stupid bug with the secret counter in the base game, I can't have all the achievements because the counter reseted to zero and i can't unlock them again. So base game, amazing, easier than Doom Eternal cause the mechanics are way easier to use and to remember or maybe it's just better for me I don't know. I've finished the game on Ultra Violence but maybe I should have put nightmare. But anyway like other Doom Games, the levels were made before the story and it's a lot visible in this game. So the ending is not that climatic. But at least for once the end boss is something new and not the end boss from the first Doom like 2016 or Doom II like Eternal. The shield feels good to use, compare to Doom Eternal, this time you don't have to run away but mostly go in and fight the demons and then run away if you messed up because they ganged up on you or whatever. At least the items on the floor are useful, trust me you're going to need them. The game is good, until you play the DLC, in the DLC you have the spear, reasign your buttons well, have a mouse like me with two more buttons, it helps, and force yourself to play with the spear. Man, it's another world, it's faster, deadlier, just learn to mostly evade instead of trying to parry everything. I've stopped using the shield as soon as I've mastered the spear, I even forgot that I could switch back to the shield in combat. You can do some crazy stuff it's amazing. I wish the spear was in the base game. So anyway, don't sleep on the DLC, it continues the story. And what more can I say, I hope they're will be an other DLC in the future because I need more of the spear. Yeah I know there's the Ripatorium, but Im not a fan of these arena stuff. So instead of using all the weapons like Doom Eternal, here the focus is on the shield and in the DLC, the spear, learn to use it, evade, parry, fly into the air. Amazing. So easier to use, longer to master, But at the laeast you don't have to switch to every damn weapons. Yeah I was bad at Eternal but I love this game. I love the whole trilogy. Oh and best old school rooms from the trilogy. The shotgun feels so good. I wish there was more of it and more old weapons. Fix that damn counter bug please
I enjoyed it so much I paid for teh DLC.
