DOOM: The Dark Ages

I'm about to get the new DLC, (DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations) so I thought it would be a good time to say that this is one of the best games I have ever played. I highly recommend this to anyone, and as always, RIP AND TEAR :DTDA_Slayer_Symbol:

I love this game! The combat may not be as good as DOOM eternal or DOOM 2016 but it is still very good. Way better than what you will find in most games released nowadays. Even though though combat isn't better I do think the game has improved a lot in its story, and the boss fights are WAAAAAY better. I got to 100% the game and the whole experience was great. Its a shame that so many Id employees got laid off, DOOM is my favorite game series, these games are very important to me and seeing the people who made the thing I love get screwed over really sucked. I hope the talent that were forced to leave find other ventures.

Better than DOOM 2016 (with the Revelations DLC, without it, it's probably a little worse in comparison) but worse than DOOM Eternal + The Ancient Gods DLCs.

Me gustó muchísimo DOOM: The Dark Ages, incluido su DLC. Mantiene al 100 % la esencia de DOOM: acción rápida, combates intensos, violencia exagerada y diversión constante. Se siente fiel tanto a los juegos clásicos como a la etapa moderna iniciada con el reboot de 2016. No intenta complicar innecesariamente la fórmula; simplemente ofrece lo que uno espera de la saga: destruir demonios sin descanso y pasarla increíble. Pura diversión de principio a fin.

The combat is really satisfying. Especially once it clicks in further levels.

[h1] После прошлой части - Dark Ages это 2 шага назад. [/h1] Да, графика красивая, неплохая оптимизация, немножко навалили сюжета и нелинейности, но геймплей просто жуёт говна. Левел дизан нудный - на одном уровне в тайнике "внезапно" выскакивает демон со спины. На 5й раз от такого оригинального хода начинает уже подташнивать.. И всё здесь так. Куча бесполезного оружия типа черепомётов, ни одной дальнобойной пушки (после определенного рэнджа враги тебя могут коцать, а ты им наносишь буквально НОЛЬ урона).. Я могу долго перечислять косяки. Играть последнюю треть игры уже не интересно - ты выучил парирование, а другие кнопки тебе не особо и нужны. Отдельно у меня сгорело от тупейших багов (а я игру купил через год после релиза) - банально ты не можешь даже переназначить кнопки на оружие. Иногда рандомно меняется выбор рун. Я не понял, по какому принципу.. [b] А еще у меня игра постоянно вылетала каждые полчаса! Я долго не могу понять, в чём проблема, пока рандомно не переключился на другую звуковую карту. [/b] Я закончил игру на Ultra-Violence и выдохнул. Никакого желания переиграть в ЭТО у меня не возникнет
