Reviews
Doom is tons of fun def worth the play. The DLC also never disappoints.
The game is pretty well polished, base game is fun but does feel a bit easy. If you enjoyed Eternal the most then the DLC is a love letter to it. You get the best of both, and it's intense in the best way. ID did a phenomenal job on this one.
stalest out of the last 3 7/10
one of the best game I ever played and the DLC it is from another world something more them PEAK, that what boomer shooter should look like WOW
Good Game, Plenty of Action, wish there was less of a linier style of game play where we could go back to areas that were inaccessable due to our level or power Overall GFX Are good, Music is good, WISH THERE WAS MORE BLOOD!!!!! Solid 8/10 only because i want a new QUAKE game and less blood than normal?
It's not Eternal and I really wasn't happy with changes they willingly made after the formula that produced the best action game I have ever played (Eternal). And then the music took a step back. I read that Andrew did work on Dark Ages music, but I'm not sure to what capacity. I wish he had been involved in the same way that he was in Eternal's DLC - I truly feel like Dark Ages missed out on the music front where as it hit so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard in Eternal / DLCs. It's metal. But it's not... METAL Anyway, I still enjoyed the game. It'll be the last doom game I play with my ex-fiance (I always used to make reviews and mention her in them and as I type this one it kind of upsets me). I'm sure this won't be seen or it'll get clowned - whatever. Why am I even typing all this into the review? I don't know. I guess I'm upset. I don't think I've talked to many people in the last two months about the end of the engagement, so here I am typing it out in a steam review. I miss playing Doom with her on stream in the same apartment. Sorry that I wasted your time by you reading this - whoever you are. I just needed to vent. I'll let the internet immortalize me breaking a little bit. I'm gonna go wipe my face off. Ciao.
ID, you're Call of Dutying my DOOM... STOP IT!

Excellent game. You feel like such a bad ass playing this, you are such an unstoppable weapon of mass destruction. I liked it all, from the dragon flying to the great big mechs. Plenty of customisation, great choice of weapons, great enemy variety, and good amount of secrets to seek out. Great addition to the Doom franchise. I played on high and was getting around 100fps, it ran really smooth with no issues whatsoever.
