Reviews
DOOM: The Dark Ages is a great game overall, especially when it comes to its shield gameplay. In the main game, the shield adds a lot of variety to combat and makes fights feel fast, dynamic, and fun. Blocking, parrying, and using the shield offensively gives combat a different feel from previous DOOM games and keeps encounters exciting. The DLC, however, definitely ramps up the challenge. The difficulty can be pretty intense, and some encounters feel much more demanding than the base game. I enjoyed the challenge, but it can sometimes feel frustrating rather than rewarding. One of my biggest complaints is that the DLC switches around the settings and controls. Having to relearn where everything is after getting used to the normal controls is annoying and can really mess with your muscle memory. Some of the secrets are also tedious to unlock. They can be fun to discover, but a few require more effort than they feel worth. Overall, DOOM: The Dark Ages has fantastic, varied, and highly dynamic combat, with the shield being one of its best additions. The DLC provides a serious challenge, but the control changes and some tedious secrets hold it back from being as enjoyable as the main game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

good game loved it
I really loved the dlc and the parry dodge stuff was peak
From 93', to "Can I scream?", to hell frozen over. I can't express how glad I am that this game avoided 'The Curse of 3'. Great way to crown the only reebot series that set the bar high and in some miraculous way still holds to it. May we fight like hell till the dawn of time.
Good
Pizda
A distinctly different flavour of DOOM, but not in a bad way. If you go in expecting Eternal's movement you'll be disappointed (at least in the base game) but give it time, figure out the parry timing (and turn on auto-sprint like seriously why is this off by default) and you'll probably like it. F*ck Microsoft, id deserved better
I've played Doom since floppy disc days on MS-DOS, and I've honestly loved all of them. This is a very good continuation of the game. Looks amazing, sounds amazing... love it! :D
Very peaceful and relaxing
This game was a pretty solid bowel movement. Honestly, it wasn't really fun to go through, but I spent 30 bucks on it, so I'm going to play it through. It's terrible to see how far they missed the mark post-DOOM (2016). I felt like Captain America in Hell, thats not what I wanted. Do you like quick-time events? Well, this game's got you. Disappointment is an understatement.
