Not as good as Doom Eternal but still a very solid and fun game.

Another great entry into the series. Doom Slayer aura farming is awesome, otherwise the cutscenes are too long and unnecessary sometimes. The dragon and mech sections are cool in theory, but end up being monotonous and even boring compared to normal combat. The shield and parrying are great additions actually, but I hate that they removed the movement of Eternal. They fix this and all of the other issues in the Revelations DLC btw, play that especially if you're a fan of Eternal. It's the best of both worlds and probably the best content in the series. The base game is still great overall, but I think there are aspects of Eternal and 2016 that are better. I hope they continue on and make content like the DLC (but please streamline the tech between the shield and spear). They don't deserve these layoffs (except maybe Marty Stratton, he hasn't made it right with Mick Gordon). Regardless, play this if you like the other games, it's worth the support.
Its a decent game but it doesn't beat Eternal in terms of fun.
Easier than Doom Eternal, but still fun.
