RUBY MEDAL-This game ran like 60 fps medium graphics ON MY PC, THİS BEST GAME EVER!
It feels like that they lost the creative freedom that they had back when they made the 2016 game... the main villan of that game the inpersonal cooperate leader has become our aly... why, how?... instead of a relevant critique of the uncaring nature of cooperations, literally unleasing hell we fight god??? and hell priests??? what was the point??? I know it's a shooting game and story is just one part... why did we need soo many platforming... nothing say Rip and tear like some platforming... and pusle solving... why did we need ship??? it just interrupted the flow of the game... the only thing that you could do there was to buy a few extra upgrades... Just play DOOM 2016...
Game downloaded, I'm ready to play -> you have to make bethesda account... Okay, this sucks but ♥♥♥♥ it and make that ♥♥♥♥, let's play -> menu welcomes you with popup after popup... Okay, I managed to click onto those bazzilion windows, now let's finally play -> game pauses to let you know that by pressing jump twice you can doublejump... 24 minutes in still not had fun edit: I can deal with launcher crap, I can deal with account crap, I can deal with unskippable tutorial crap (here is minimap data, this game has minimap, now open minimap like a good monkey because closing this popup without opening the map would mean you can play), I can deal with pausing the singleplayer if I lose internet because you can't spy on me... but there is almost more invisible walls than real ones... and that thing I just refuse to deal with
best game ever
Honestly not what I was expecting. I read the reviews, watched the trailer, thinking it was some hyper-fast retro shooter like Ultrakill full of crazy combos where every weapon melts with eachother perfectly...Needless to say I was disappointed. First off, the rules and mechanics really didn't click. Need ammo? you MUST use the chainsaw. Need health? You MUST enter a scripted kill animation which kills your momentum. Need armor? You MUST use the flame belch. It's hard to micromanage the little things, and it feels a restrictive. Second, the gameplay just FEELS throttled/slowed down. I understand that this game is for console players, but honestly, it just kills momentum when all you want to do for Slayer (basically a human) is to just at least have a reliable slide option. The whole gameplay experience for me was disappointing, and it honestly was just not hitting it for thirty bucks. Third, lore doesn't really scale up to the gameplay. The devs are saying that Slayer is this god-like being that in the end, killed Davoth, creator of the multiverse, but still gets mauled by a standard Possessed if he stands still for a bit too long? Also, the lore. Doom (2016) ended with Slayer cutting off the Hell energy network and killing the possessed Olivia Pierce, Dr. Samuel Hayden betrays him, steals the Crucible weapon and banishes the Slayer to an unknown location. Now, suddenly, we end up in a giant spaceship/citadel that we own, AND its revealed that VEGA is literally the Father in Eternal. Now, this doesn't affect the gameplay for me, but it's just in the back of my head, like how did we even get here? Plus, Doom (2016) was a gritty, grounded sci-fi story about corporate greed and industrial Hell, but Doom Eternal suddenly turned everything into a high-fantasy space opera with gods, angels, and ancient prophecies. That, in my opinion, was a massive pivot, and felt jarring. On the plus side, the OST and graphics are killer. Now, I don't hate the game, but the gameplay and lore are just really not it for me.
RIP id Software and id Tech, Xbox’s pajeet boss fired half the studio including the engine team to then give the jobs to other Indian jeets (via work visa) and cheap contractors. Didn’t even give them a chance to go independent or find other buyers.
Praticamente non spari e basta, devi fare i calcoli mentali a duecento all'ora mentre ti trovi addosso l'inferno.
