After playing the Half Life Mod made by Team Monkey "Escape From Darkness" I went searching for anything else this team made. Martins map making skill is unmatched. I genuinely mean that. He is the biggest asset to this project and I know will make the world feel unique and alive because of it. To my delight I found this game which is a love letter to Half Life and Zelda Fans everywhere. It even feels a bit like Fable 1 on the Original Xbox. Thank you for continuing to make these amazing worlds. I only wish that most people today knew how impressive this game is. The source Engine is completely transformed here. It is a dream of mine that this team continues to make great games. I hope my sale helps them confirm that all of their hard work was worth it. I am loving this.
This game really takes you back to old Classic games like Zelda. The Graphics and music are great. Its a great adventure game with great storyline.
yes
Divinia Chronicles is a fun 3D Action RPG game , even though its an early access version of the game i like the graphics of it , what i love about it you can run it on any pc setup you got with nice fps , i got an old HP laptop and it runs just fine , no lag and no issues , controls are easy to learn and the fight mecanisme is good , most of the people play games based on there action/time ratio but for me i enjoy the journey more than the destination , i love exploring the map and solving puzzles . if you love rpg games and you want to try something new then this is for you :D
Divinia Chronicles: an interesting RPG game with a cool story
This game is fun and entertaining. You start your adventure as a young boy with a passion for sword fighting, but that's just after an introduction cinematic that tells the story of Orio Island, the Divine Tree, and Gan-Ti. The game has some great music (which I loved) and a very enjoyable story : these two things were my favorite during the playthrough. The map is, from what I've seen, a standard adventure from point A to point B, even though sometimes you can "easily" get lost. The story is compelling and I kinda want to see where it goes. The combat system is decent, not the greatest I've ever tried but still playable and enjoyable. It has some problems like the hitboxes and the fact that, on PC, you can't customize the keys, and I find it a bit frustrating to use the ALT key to dodge (you jump with SPACE). A pro of the combat system is that it's quite varied, with spells and stuff. Some things could use a fix or some improvement, like the lightning (sometimes you're stuck in the dark) and the lack of a (mini)map and some icons/indicators. So, I would recommend the game, even if I think its price is a bit too high (you can always wait for sales lol). With its limitations, it's a good game that has some great potential and room for improvement.
An action RPG with fluid mechanics and very good gameplay. Its combat system is very well designed, with focus, attack, defense and stamina well worked out to the point of giving you many strategy options. Its leveling is very natural, following a great rhythm without making the game boring. The graphics are beautiful and well-crafted, in a 3D reminiscent of classics. The soundtrack accompanies the story very well, which is very well written and elaborated. Its plot is very exciting, the characters are charismatic... In short, a game for those like me, who love a good RPG. I highly recommend!
I would really recommend this game. I love it. If you're adventure/zelda gamers, then this game is for you. USER INTERFACE (UI): The UI is awesome. They're easy to understand and provide all the necessary information. GAMEPLAY / PLAYABILITY: The gameplay is awesome. The progression is good, and there are so many varieties of items to choose from. The story line is fairly intriguing. The combat/battle is great, even though it's challenging, but who wants an easy battle??? It's perfect how it is. CONTROLS: Controls are great. All controls respond very quickly. The fact that it supports a game controller, it's a major bonus. GRAPHICS and SOUNDS: Graphics are AMAZING. I love the environment. It feels immersive. The sound/music is great. Awesome sound effects as well. PERFORMANCE: The game loaded and played flawlessly without any issue. CONCLUSION: I would really recommend this game to any gamer. SCORE: 8.5 out of 10
Played and loved the game, attains memorable status ! Beware: when the credits roll, the game is NOT over, after them, it goes on with a least 1 fun chapter. Had a minor problem but the magnific devs swooped down like hawks and fixed it quickly. Haha, they had to be german, makers of many of my highest rated favorites. (Gothic, Venetica, Sacred 2, Drakensang, Might & Magic Heroes VII, Might & Magic X: Legacy, The Surge 1 & 2, Lords of the Fallen, Dark, Enderal, Nehrim, G2 Archolos and Odyssey mods, Crysis, etc) =)
This game reminds me of the iconic classic, Legend of Zelda. I enjoyed playing that game and this one too! Great story, great graphics, and awesome gameplay features. All around, I give this game 5 stars!
