About
Watch entire civilizations rise, war, and fall across a 3,400-region map, then shape the outcome however you like. Build the world in the editor, reach in and command it like a god, or go deep and program the AI that runs the nations. Set it loose and watch your world unfold, or take your strategies to the Arena and pit them against everyone else's.
Observe is a world you can leave running. Nations expand, ally, betray, and collapse on their own across a seamless, world-wrapping map drawn from real geography. Sit back and watch history happen, or steer it whenever the mood strikes.
Endless Mode. Flip the toggle and every time a game ends, a brand-new shuffled world is generated and play continues forever. Set it running and let civilizations rise and fall while you work, watch, or relax.
A living map. Read the whole world at a glance through map modes for alliances, wars, and the shifting balance of power.
Design the worlds you watch and fight over.
3,400+ regions across a detailed, seamless, world-wrapping map.
Alternate histories. What if Rome never fell? What if the Mongols rode again? Take full control over countries, populations, borders, technology, and starting conditions.
One-click Randomize. Hit the button and get a fresh, shuffled world to set loose. Instant new challenges, no setup.
Save your favorites. Build a library of custom civilizations and drop them into any scenario.
Share your worlds. Build the scenario you've always wanted to watch, then hand it to everyone else.
It's your world. Reach in and meddle. God Controls let you intervene in any running simulation directly: tip a war, prop up an underdog, or unleash chaos, all through an in-game HUD. Watch a situation unfold, then change it with a click.
Want more than a spectator's seat? You can write the minds the nations think with. Observe ships with a built-in code editor running MiniScript, a clean, readable scripting language for authoring AI doctrine: when to expand, who to trust, where to mass its armies.
Never written code before? A 30-lesson interactive tutorial takes you from your first line to a working war machine, in-editor, at your own pace.
Already a programmer? The API exposes composable primitives (full enemy intel, army allocation, front objectives, economy) and gets out of your way. The strategic ceiling is yours to find.
Iterate fast. Run any scenario right inside the editor, watch your script command nations live, tweak, and run again.
Wrote an AI you're proud of? Prove it. The Arena pits your scripts head-to-head against other players' creations in 1v1 duels and a global, properly-rated ELO ladder.
Spar instantly. Load a script, pick any rival on the ladder, and watch the duel play out live before your eyes.
Climb the ranked ladder. Matches are rated with a true round-robin system, not luck-of-the-draw ELO. Each of your named AIs earns its own place on the board.
Run up to 3 AIs. Field different doctrines and see which one the meta rewards.
Watch a world play itself. Shape it however you want. This is Observe.

idk, honestly this game is a half baked barley sensible "observer" grand strategy map game. Wars always favor to the statistically larger countries giving the game no real depth and observer feel at all when you know either USA or China is going to win every single time. every single game, Oh unless its a Europe map, then Russia wins because its the largest country on the map. and don't even get me started on the janky "Country AI Chatbox " with 1 line responses from each nations stereotyped leader.. and to finish it all off with a even better note, it hasn't been updated since august and is one of the most hollow boring strategy games in my entire library. This game is worth maybe one dollar and some serious updating and AI remodeling to go with it.
As someone who greatly enjoys programming competitive AI, this game definitely managed to scratch a bit of that itch. Although it's relatively simplistic, there's still quite some systems to work with. And there's always enough challenge by going up against the default AI, or your own ones, and playing different countries with varying difficulty. In the early stage that I'm writing this, the developer has been very active to make changes, listen to feedback and develop new things for the game, even making larger and radical additions to improve it.
glorious game
Altough the game still has some features that need to be developed. But it's current form is unprecedented . I'd never seen a game before like this before cause the gameplay. Especially making scenarios and then whatching them is so fun lol. I hope it's gets long time support cause supporting independent game developers is critical to the gaming market and to us gamers.
I liked shuffle a lot, seems like an entertaining thing to watch when going to sleep. I'd say it's more than enough for an early access title right now.
this game is totally a stress reliever especially if you have adhd brain or if you really like to observe constantly changing things like me. unlike other strategy games, you can code ai behaviors. if this feature turns into a competition, it'll be really fun to watch. also it has clear and cute ui design for dumbasses like me aaand also drew made a video about the game, that's cool
good fun game to watch!! Also the coding element could go very deep and early access is very complete as it is!
Oyunu ilk başta anlamadım vakit geçirdikçe çözmeye başladım editörden Dünya haritası üzerinden kendi ülkelerimi kurup birbirleriyle kapıştırdım desteklediğim ülke galip geldiğinde keyiflendim güzel zaman geçirilecek bir oyun dahada çok gelişeceğine ümitliyim yapımcı editörde mevcut ülkeleri hazır ekleme işini yaparsanız güzel olur örneğin sadece Japonya ve Fransayı seçip hangisinin galip geleceği bir senaryo yapmak istiyorum bunu benim için yaparsanız sevinirim hangisinin galip geleceğini merak ediyorum.
Having a lot of fun with this one. The game's deep customization gives you the ability to create your own nation, even program your own hand-crafted scenario! The developer is great and is quick to update the game based on community feedback and suggestions. I feel like there's a bright future ahead for this one, already a good chunk of content to keep those interested in the concept busy for hours and only a lot more to look forward to!
When first saw the game i thought it was some crappy game. few months later i go by again and see then i buy. its not some crappy game i thought it to be. its a very complex simulation. some day it will be better than ages of conflict.
