Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Damn I don’t think I’ve ever edited a review this many times, or put this much effort into writing one. But here we are. First of all: DON’T judge this story after your first playthrough: At first, I was genuinely blown away by the artwork. Excellent drawings, strong character designs and I was fully prepared to leave a glowing review. But the longer I played, the more a few systems started to wear me down and kept me from giving this an easy thumbs up. Update (after finishing my first playthrough on Wrathful path) I’m updating this because my opinion shifted over time. I struggled a lot with the systems below, but by the final chapters of my first route I was far more invested than I expected. The last stretch especially hit hard, and I genuinely started caring about the characters and their arcs. 1) Recruitment is way too punishing The Digimon “recruiting/befriending” mechanic feels less like a challenge and more like a grind. By Chapter 6, some Digimon took dozens of attempts before they finally joined and every attempt plays out almost the exact same way. It doesn’t feel strategic; it just feels repetitive. For a story-driven game, making recruitment this absurdly luck-heavy is a strange choice. 2) Dialogue choices can feel like guesswork A lot of choices don’t feel like “I understand this character” decisions. They often feel like “I can guess what the game wants” decisions. When you guess “wrong,” it can push you toward reloading, which kills pacing and immersion in a game that’s already long and choice-heavy. Further update (after multiple playthroughs) Here’s the important part: this is not a game you should judge after only one playthrough. The experience changes dramatically over repeated routes—especially once you complete the second run. A lot of things that felt arbitrary or incomplete early on start to click into place, and by the time you’re deeper into subsequent playthroughs (even more so on the third), the overall narrative feels far more cohesive and “complete.” What initially came across as rough or confusing starts to feel intentional, and the story payoff becomes genuinely impressive. So yes, my frustrations with recruitment and some dialogue logic are real. But the writing, character arcs, and route structure ended up landing much harder than I expected, and the bigger picture only truly comes together if you keep going beyond run one. Recommendation If you’re interested primarily in the story and characters, I strongly recommend not forming a final opinion after the first playthrough. Finish the second route at minimum that’s where the full structure starts to make sense. And if you don’t enjoy grinding: playing with a trainer/mod that boosts befriend chance and EXP gain can significantly improve the experience, because it lets you focus on what the game does best—the narrative and the cast without the recruitment friction.
