I've heard about Deus Ex a couple of times in the past and I got around to buying a whole bundle, and decided to play this one because it was the newest in the series and also takes place in Prague and I wanted to see how the Czech would be handled in the game (It's pretty good actually in my opinion :) ) for fun I loved Pretty much every minute of the game, wondering what happens next in the story, even doing side quests and points of interests when I saw them appear Unfortunately so the games performance is a bit iffy at times, so your best bet is prolly running it on low, it looks just as good on low anyways though so I don't see a reason to set it on high at the expense of having the chance to see the game above 60 fps :p (I'm a sucker for smoothness) Also Adam Jensen has crazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ drip, handsome dude with augmented limbs, cool af

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

**"I Never Asked For This."** *A review by someone who gave this game 5 days of their life and got a cliffhanger in return.* --- I'm not recommending this game. And before you scroll past — I finished it. Through three crashes, forced resolution drops, a CPU that filed a formal complaint, and loading screens long enough to question my life choices. I earned this review. Let me rewind to 2011. Human Revolution did everything right. Great characters, a conspiracy that built to a satisfying conclusion, mechanics that welcomed every playstyle. It was a complete meal. You left full. Mankind Divided is the same restaurant charging the same price and bringing you half a plate. **The story** is the core wound here. Ninety percent of this game is setup. The last ten percent is the credits rolling right when you think Act II is about to begin. The ending is — no joke — a news anchor reading your choices back to you. Questions that are raised with enormous ceremony are never answered. Who is really behind Jensen's augmentations? What is your partner actually hiding? The cliffhanger character — why do we never confront her? The game doesn't know, or doesn't care to tell you. Human Revolution had conclusions. Character arcs. A story that respected your time. This one has a sequel it forgot to make. **Prague** is beautiful. I'll give it that. But it's one hub you can access almost entirely from the beginning, and the forced back-and-forth travel between its two districts — through loading screens that run forty seconds on hardware that should be eating this game alive — becomes a commute. There are no bars in Prague, by the way. In Prague. Think about that. **The PC port** is an embarrassment. Crashes across all hardware configurations, NVIDIA and AMD alike. I finished the main game. I could not finish the DLC — the game crashed me out every time. I dropped from 1440p to 1080p just for basic stability. This is unacceptable in 2016. It remains unacceptable now. **The gameplay itself** is genuinely good — I want to be fair. The weapon variety, the level design density, the new remote hacking augmentation, the sheer sandbox quality of Prague as a play space. These are real achievements. The bones here are excellent. But the inventory system will make you foam at the mouth, the map navigation will guide you confidently to the wrong location, and there is exactly one boss fight in the entire game. One. **Before launch**, the developers ran the "Augment Your Pre-Order" scheme — a tiered pre-order program where content unlocked based on total pre-orders, with an early release promised if numbers hit a target. It was cancelled after massive backlash. Then promotional art using "Aug Lives Matter" imagery ran alongside active real-world civil rights conversations. Then microtransactions appeared in a full-priced single-player game. The game arrived already on fire. Compared to Human Revolution — which ran forty hours and ended — this runs twenty and stops. Compared to Dishonored, Prey, even Hitman's 2016 reinvention, the narrative ambition here is a fraction of what the genre was delivering at the same time. I held Deus Ex to a high standard because it earned that standard. When a sequel not only fails to meet it but actively regresses in scope, that's not a rough edge. That's a broken promise. **Score: 2/10** Not because the mechanics are worthless. Because a game's most important job — especially a Deus Ex game — is its story, its world, its sense of completion. This one fails that job, shipped broken, and had the audacity to sell the missing half as DLC. Buy Human Revolution instead. It's finished.
I can't give this game a thumbs up because it often froze during loading, and the loading times themselves took literally minutes, even though I have a powerful PC. Yes, this game is beautiful and has varied gameplay, although I find it too time-consuming to navigate through dialogue. Perhaps this game isn't compatible with modern systems, which is why I couldn't complete it.
Incredible game. I struggled to get into it during the first phase. I was chasing lots of side quests, and it felt like I was just doing "stuff." I didn't really get into the plot or understand what was going on until halfway into the game. I recommend watching the trailers in the extras section to help you understand what's going on. I learned that they had much more planned for this game, but they had to ship it early. You wouldn't know it. The game is crammed with content. I don't understand why people say it's abrupt or short. There are tons of places to explore. It's just easy to skip the side quests if you want to. I'm guessing that's what most people do. I've played all of the other games in the series. This is one of the best ones. You should play Human Revolution before you play this one, though. Ideally, you should play the games in order of their release. You could also skip Invisible War and come back to it as the last one you play. Music: 7/10. Most of it is light ambient / background noise, but it's vaguely close enough to the original Deus Ex soundtrack that the songs from the original game were getting stuck in my head. Gameplay: 8/10. Sneaking and shooting feel nice. You can aim through iron sights / scopes. Augmentation usage feels nice. It's possible to unlock all augmentations. Plot: 9/10. It was hard to get into at first. I wondered if some of it should be cut, but it's a video game. You don't have to play all the side quests if you don't want to. The concept behind the plot is very original, and they tied into the plot of the original game in creative ways. I appreciate the work they did. In true Deus Ex form, there is some political commentary that is incredibly prescient. As someone who played the original on the year it was released, I regret not playing this sooner. I would say this release is better than Human Revolution. It's incredible what they accomplished. I wonder what it would have been if they could have completed everything they wanted to complete. Definitely a hidden gem. It just took some time to grow on me.

I asked for this
It's crazy how parrallel the story is to what we face today. Story, gameplay and characters are all 10/10. Deus ex Mankind Divided is a must try provided you don't skip its story and side questes. Never skip them side quests.
Definitely feels like it ends before it's time. I did ONE PLAYTHROUGH at time of this review. People say its easy to get praxis but I don't really feel the same when you first start getting to explore Prague, doesn't help I was locked out abilities because I committed to invisibility, expecting it to be good like it was in HR. I poured way too many praxis into it to only use it a handful of times because it has a super short active duration. The only purpose it serves is walking through lasers. Being able to punch through walls is going to get you MUCH MUCH farther. I had the same issue when starting an unfinished console playthrough on PS5 years ago. Gun variants and ammo types seem to only serve to force you to think more about how you are going to Inventory for loud. Armor piercing sure does help a lot near the beginning but you might end up with enough to just use it all the time as long as you don't miss a ton of shots. I'm not a fan of how this whole system played out. Seriously it sucks to start, warms up near the end but ultimately ends before the momentum allows. Gunplay feels good, stealth feels normal, and when things allign exploration feels good, I can only recommend to someone who already played HR and is willing to play a worse version of it. Non gameplay complaints: There's an NPC at the beginning of the game with last name Epstein that wants you to help them create fake government IDs, will attempt to lecture you to change your opinion even if you stand firmly against it. Reaping any reward from this quest causes the NPC to instantly disappear so you cannot kill them afterwards. Killing them is not a solution to the quest either. Seems off, sets off alarms, game is blatantly more ideologically motivated than HR, which is definitely proto "moralized." Both games are still allegories for intersectional beliefs.
