Crysis 2 - Maximum Edition

A hell of a lot better than Crysis 3, but then again so is rock paper scissors.

Crysis 2 offers a visually stunning and action-packed experience set in a besieged New York City. With its advanced Nanosuit technology, players can adapt to any situation, whether engaging in intense firefights or utilizing stealth to outmaneuver enemies. The game's dynamic environments and destructible scenery add depth to the gameplay, creating immersive combat scenarios. A qualidade gráfica era absurda para a época - e ainda continua impressionante-, mas o que mais marca neste título é a jogabilidade extremamente fluida e a responsividade do personagem. Horas garantidas de diversão para quem gosta de FPS. Nota: os adversários só serão desafiantes quando o jogo for ajustado para a dificuldade máxima (de outra forma os comportamentos das personagens será muito previsível.

A much more linear experience than its predecessor, 'Crysis 2' is a fine sequel, if a bit on-the-rails too much of the time. You are Alcatraz, a Force Recon Marine, whose team end up engaging the mysterious CELL on the quarantined island of Manhattan, during an outbreak of extraterrestrial plague. It's 9/11 Catharsis meets the War of the Worlds, in videogame form. Other details should probably be left for the player to experience, themselves. The engine is updated, as are the graphics, and it's another powerhouse -- this time in a much more cinematic sense, but with enough freedom to approach encounters to keep a playthrough going. The supersuit's power-sets are also streamlined from the quad menu set-up of the original, and upgradable in new ways. Enemy AI is also improved -- especially the humans -- though, that isn't to say they are markedly intelligent. If you enjoyed the narrative of 'Crysis' and its combat, you'll enjoy this sequel. PRO-TIP: You can modify the FOV from the native 55 up to 80 w/ Properties>Launch Options>cl_fov **

Excelente Jogo.

Instead of playing as an extraterrestrial with a hovering attack aircraft and cool red laser beam weapons, you get to play as generic soldier guy in tight leather clothes with an aluminium jockstrap and the same weapons as every other FPS game made after 2004. Worse is that the suit establishes a cybernetic connection with your character's brain whereby you inherit the previous owner's memories, who, right before he died, visited all the gay bars of Manhattan (including the ones that Jewish gangsters visit on Friday night, where they collectively practice the ancient Jewish ritual of kissing their fathers' ass) whilst wearing it. He also used the suit at an Agnostic Front show in Brooklyn, a notorious gay band from New York who pose as agnostics but secretly they're devout christians, and they as well as the entire crowd (consisting of 17 vegans, the average number of visitors at an AF show) performed circle-bukkake on the suit. Then he hands it over to you the next day right before killing himself out of shame. Also, because he killed himself before the alien invasion instead of fighting them, he was posthumously knighted in the Order of Orange Nassau. The game also runs worse on 2023 hardware than it did on 2008 hardware.
