Detroit. My beloved. I absolutely love this game. I originally watched youtubers play it on release (because I was unable to get the game at the time.) and loved it. As soon as I had the money to buy it, I got it or my PS4. I 100% the game on my PlayStation and years later, I brought it again on Steam and 100%-ed it all over again. Genuinely, love the characters and plot of the game. Connor is easily my favourite character in the game. I honestly think the best part of the game is the Connor and Hank parts of the game, I just love they’re dynamic and think they bounce off each other well. I like Markus and his Jerico plot line as well. I didn’t see anything wrong with Kara’s part of the game when I initially played it, I think it’s fine. But I have seen a lot of people say it’s the weakest part of the game, which I’m inclined to agree. I don’t hate this part of the game, I think it’s fine, but I don’t think it’s as good as the Connor and Markus parts of the game. I have heard criticism on how they handled Androids place in society as well, but I’m no expert on the topic, so I won’t say anything here, but when I initially played the game, I saw nothing wrong with it, it’s only on my recently replay I could understand what they mean, but by no means does it change my opinion that this is a great game. Highly recommend you play it if you haven’t already. It is up there in my top 5 best games I’ve played.
