This is the game of my childhood and it still makes me happy after 15 years. I'm happy I can play it with my RTX 4090 now. It reminds of how fast we grow and how some little things can so valuable. It's not about flex or money, it's about making core memories. My kids will other games and it will become a part of their journey
I played Delta Force 1 back in 2001. First FPS game ever played. Then it was 3, black hawk down and the successor. I was very into this kind of open maps, semi-military sim type of FPS that requires patience, thinking and proper strategy. Man i wish someone can just remaster the old school Delta Force 1,2,3 and 4.

very good game
3h通关,游戏新增了检查点复活机制,游戏ai的准度过于抽象,有时候贴脸发愣,有时候搁100-200米一枪给我秒了,我控制的角色能挨一发坦克溅射,却会被敌人的一发子弹直接秒。

Very funny, wacky arcade shooter; Playable proof of Novalogic's comedic talent :D I think it's hilarious how this game pretends to be all serious and tactical, but in reality it isn't even close. :D It gives you realistic weapons and gadgets, grounded and simple mission goals, lets you choose your loadout before each mission, you can drive vehicles, and you even have ally soldiers by your side. But all that is just smoke and mirrors.... In gameplay, it's a very light and relaxing arcade FPS with only a decorative layer of military theme. :) You get dropped on a pretty large, open map and run (sometimes drive) to your first objective. 30 seconds later you can see a big number of enemy soldiers far far away. Some of them try to get close to you, others just run around like headless chickens trying to distract you, while the rest try to shoot you from far away. Interestingly, they are NOT hitscanners. You can see their bullets flying by and leaving colorful tracers behind them. If you keep moving around, most of the enemy's bullets will just miss you. After death you get a chance to choose a new loadout and respawn at the last checkpoint. But here's the twist: the game won't reset objectives, and dead bad guys won't respawn. Basically, everything you manage to do before dying will just stay like that. The only time I've seen this system before is in some GameGuru games. :) Personally, I like the simplicity and comedic edge of this game; I think it's perfect for short bursts - jump in, do 3 missions, jump out. Ah, and you can roll around when you go prone, which is mostly pointless, but a unique and hilarious mechanic - I love that. :) Don't worry about my short playtime; I had this on Steam only for a moment but played the non-steam version a few years ago. :)
When you say Delta Force, all knowledgeable gamers will think of a long series of PC games from Novalogic, in which you can put yourself in the role of an elite soldier of the special military units "Delta Force". For those who might not know, these units are deployed on exceptionally dangerous missions and only in special cases or complex situations. They often move deep behind enemy lines and in enemy territory, where they participate in, for example, liberation or purely sabotage actions. And that's what this old-new game is all about. The authors offer a total of 40 levels from the first part of Delta Force - 20 of the best for singleplayer and the same number for multiplayer. In singleplayer, you can try out a total of three campaigns - Peru, Chad and Novaya Zemlya. In them you will deal with drug lords, rescue hostages, even help the Russian special military units Spetsnaz in the fight against separatist forces, eliminate the resistance of local South American militias, etc. The old Delta Force in a better guise, but it is still a game from 2005 and if there is to be some kind of remaster of an old game, it really shouldn't look like this. Unfortunately, the game suffers from a very short playing time, untuned enemy intelligence and inconsistencies that unnecessarily push an otherwise interesting game deep into the waters of below average.
