About
From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes an emotionally charged evolution of this genre-defying experience. In bringing this title to PC, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS worked with Nixxes Software to deliver the definitive version of the critically acclaimed console release.
In the expansive open world of DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, countless areas with vastly different terrains and environments are seamlessly connected, and the changing time, weather and nature itself provide a variety of landscapes and challenges.
There are various obstacles that will prevent Sam from completing his mission. Face them head-on, sneak around, or completely avoid dangerous areas. Choose your approach to any situation.
Eleven months after the events of the original DEATH STRANDING, rejoin Sam and his companions on a new journey to save humanity from extinction and discover the answer to this haunting question: Should we have connected?
Join Sam for the next chapter of his journey as he attempts to connect Australia to the Chiral Network. Navigate a living environment through day and night cycles, natural disasters – including earthquakes, sandstorms and forest fires – and Timefall, a rain that instantly ages everything it touches.
To traverse this dangerous landscape, you’ll need to build new types of infrastructure, master specialized equipment and confront (or evade) the otherworldly creatures that roam the fractured world.
Face enigmatic Mech soldiers, as-yet unseen BTs and new boss types that will push Sam to his limits. As you prepare for each journey, you’ll be able to fabricate weapons like machine guns, shotguns and grenade launchers to deal with threats. Or, choose to avoid confrontation altogether with stealth – using decoy holograms, silent takedowns and long-ranged gear.
Through APAS enhancements, Sam can learn new skills that will improve his odds of survival, like enhanced weapon fire-rates or reduced movement noise to help him stay hidden.
The iconic Social Strand System of DEATH STRANDING returns to encourage asynchronous connection across the globe. Your in-game actions affect how other players interact with the world and vice-versa – so connect, collaborate and help your fellow Porters on their journeys.
Leave a “Like” on a useful bridge, donate resources to community projects, store field ware in shared lockers and finish incomplete deliveries as you stumble upon dropped cargo from other Porters. As you support other players on their journeys, your own reputation will grow, giving you access to valuable resources and new gear.
Full integration with NVIDIA’s DLSS, AMD’s FSR and Intel’s XeSS and upscaling and frame generation technologies, allowing you to reach higher output resolutions; enjoy crisp, high-fidelity visuals as you navigate and explore an expansive and unpredictable open world.¹
Benefit from the option of higher framerates as well as tailored graphic settings, for a wide range of hardware – supporting every delivery with solid performance.¹
Witness even more of this incredible world with panoramic, super-ultrawide (32:9) support for gameplay, with standard ultrawide (21:9) support for in-game cut scenes.²
Take control with full mouse and keyboard support to suit your play style. Personalize your gameplay further by mapping custom keybinds.

Death Stranding 2 is an incredibly immersive game. It challenges your patience in the best way while delivering a gripping story that keeps you hooked from beginning to end. It's unlike anything we're seeing in today's gaming landscape, offering a truly unique experience. It's also a clear improvement over the first game, which was already excellent.
牛逼
They fixed most of the boring stuff from the fisrt game. They added couple features from MGS:PP (like outposts), every scene you watch looks like cinema, the storytelling now feels more comprehensiable, more action from the start. Long story short — great game that greatly improved since the fisrt part
My Favourite game ever created, graphics, gameplay, performance and sound design all 10/10, absolute masterpiece
if you liked the first game you will like this one, if you didnt like the first one, i dont think this will change that. personally i love both games.

TL:DR If you liked Death Stranding 1 you'll like Death Stranding 2. If you're new to Death Stranding and interested in playing them you must play Death Stranding 1 before Death Stranding 2. Onto the review. Everyone's favorite walking simulator has received a sequel. Everything is bigger, but isn't better in this sequel. The good: Graphics Gameplay The mixed: Story Characters Maps Let's start with the good. The graphics are improved from the 1st game which is saying something since the first game looked great already. Locations like the desert and mountains are photorealistic. The gameplay is improved from the 1st. Vehicles function better than the 1st. No more getting stuck on rocks. The weapons feel better as well. And a variety of QoL features were added. But I'm mixed on everything else. The story and characters are just not as good as the 1st game. Most new characters have unresolved story arcs during the game and are not resolved in the ending cutscenes either. The story has multiple points where you can go for hours without making any progress at all. Just a loop of connecting shelters, building roads, and gathering materials. There's a point after F2 South Distribution Center where I spent 20 hours without any story progress at all. The maps are split between 2 locations just like the the 1st game. They are Mexico and Australia. Mexico serves as the starting area. Its in-between the sizes of Area 1 and 2 of the 1st game making it quite big. No roads to build in Mexico which is nice. However, it's almost entirely empty desert which is boring. The 2nd area Australia is varied in its terrains, but its huge size is a detriment to itself. Australia's terrain is a bit more varied than the 1st game's 2nd area consisting of forests, deserts, beaches, mountains, and plains which is nice. But Australia's map is just way too big for its own good. Honestly, about a third of Australia's map could be cut with little to no impact at all. Performance is great. 1440p all high settings (or equivalent), and no RT ranged between 60 and 144 FPS with an avg of 90 FPS. As I expanded the map the FPS did decrease from 120 avg to 100 avg. I also had both structure appearance upgrades so you can avoid those to improve performance. Daytime had noticeably worse performance about 10 less FPS. Entering new regions loaded structures causing momentary dips just like in the 1st game. Overall Death Stranding 2 is more of the same. If you liked Death Stranding 1 you'll like Death Stranding 2. Personally, I'm mixed on the game. The graphics and gameplay are improved, but the story, characters, and maps are just not as good. Also build the monorail between F5 East Distribution Center and F8 Terminal Fort Knot it'll make backtracking a lot easier.
