Found a rather extreme bug in the game. As I was walking through a doorway, a random encounter occurred. This made the UI implode upon itself. My character became invisible (it reappeared after my next encounter). It also allowed me to cross all planes of the game as if walls didn't exist in the first place (this was NOT fixed after my following encounter). I can still interact with objects as normal, but I'm no longer prevented from entering areas that are supposed to be inaccessible without following the storyline; I no longer need bridges to cross water/chasms/lava and I'm no longer blocked by walls. Saving the game in an attempt to reload so that it fixes the issues saved the bug with it (I haven't tried loading any other save-points). I would show a screenshot, but Steam is broken and doesn't allow for screenshots (from ME) to be taken despite Steam settings explicitly telling it to allow me to do so. Furthermore, Steam decided that letting me take a screenshot without using the steam tools to do so isn't good enough, so I can't even upload my screenshot of proof of this bug to steam to use as a community bug warning.
18 Hours in and i just can't play this anymore. I had no fun , no good times. Dancing Dragon Games made a really good SRGP callled Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga. Go play that instead. And after you play that good game , and you feel like you want to tip the dev some extra money for making it , i guess buy this and put in your libary , but don't play it not worth your time.

The negative reviews are unwarranted. Yes the boss in the castle is challenging; they are the hardest boss up to that point and, I would say, the point at which combat becomes interesting. If you are stubborn, like me, they are beatable without changing your equipment around, but if you want to beat them in less than 30 mins then I suggest thinking carefully how to equip your tank. The Good: the developers clearly had a great deal of love for this game; the custom sprites and battle animations are fantastic (I have played SO many games made in RPGmaker, but this has to be one of the better looking ones just for the combat). The combat uses a threat system (similar to Skyborn) which gives you a great deal of control, keeps early combat engaging and allows for later combat to be more challenging/rewarding. The Bad: not to say it is perfect; the menus are a pain to navigate, the skill menu is especially bad. The female dialog feels like it was written by a man who has no sisters or daughters (you will see what I mean). And most of the female sprites/models have flotation devices in either their chests or backsides...or both! Before "that" boss: the game is easy, fast paced and "fine" (it took me about 12 hours to reach them) After that boss: the game becomes much more interesting, through there is not much before the last boss (it took me about 15 hours to reach them) The difference is that in the last 3 hours you can find many unique weapons/equipment that empower specific abilities, allowing you to effectively customise your play style, it gives you a sense of control and achievement. There is also an optional super-hard area, with the super boss at the end (it took me about 20 hours to beat everything). I was delighted with the extra 5 hours of content (though the "super" boss was much easier than the 12 hour boss as I was able to empower the abilities that were most effective) Do not skip this game; it is good (not perfect) and deserves to be appreciated
I am not very sure how to rate this game. There are areas done quite well with interesting enough of characters but alot more done quite badly. This game is very rough and very old school. Even at a very high level, the normal mobs can one shot you even if your characters had a very good armor. And the final two bosses can only be won one way. There seems to be alot of customization but after a while, you will know that there is only one way to win, I struggled and wanted to give up towards the last dungeon which is super tedious. In the end i pull through. Hopefully the other games from this studio is more balance
This game is terrible, but should be played by everyone who has ever wanted to make an RPG; the numerous errors, bizarre plot elements, failed ability to keep a story thread going, and inconsistent characterization could teach ANYONE what not to do.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this game, but started to lose interest as I entered the first dungeon and the path split into several different directions and the enemies became more powerful. It is too difficult trying to explore all of the different paths when the enemies are powerful.
Great jrpg game.
It's quite good. Lots of technical problems but overall a great amateur attempt with above average writing. (still has a few annoying indie tropes like random references to other games, but it's rare)
Classic JRPG style game but solid in i'ts design and Story. Some hard fights that require a bit of thinking that may stump some players but can be overcome.
